Great q. I didn’t read too much in to it and hadn’t thought. It might provide a clue in to the business relationship with Cytiva as there was a discussion a while back about what role they would play beyond test development. It would suggest they’re just a development partner that will be paid a royalty for their services and Awacta are fully free to sign up with as many different LFD manufacturers as they wish. Nice and clean, perhaps a separate agreement with them will be announced along with the design freeze. It could just be that the UK govt have got a very large cheque (I’m picturing lottery winner style) ready for everything we can make and that’s the initial focus.

I’d imagine it could be, in the same way that vaccines have to be developed every year based on the strains that are circulating. In fact, if I was developing such a test I’d come up with a catchy name for it...

Spot on EE, I’m invested elsewhere and the share price movements even intra day have been remarkably similar. All companies awaiting news appear to be moving in a similar broad holding pattern based on sentiment on Covid. There’s been some recent excitement over vaccines, but they won’t be available for sometime, if ever, and go hand in hand with testing anyway. Not too long to wait for an update.

We’re in very experienced capable hands. As I’ve said, I liked him, very matter of fact and clearly has high standards.

Yes, 90% would be a very good and extremely useful test to help reduce r. 9 out of 10 infected people, including asymptomatic would isolate. However, Awacta have stated their ambition of 95%+, the unbelievable gold standard in LFD that will set a benchmark that competitors will struggle to get near. Why settle for 90% when you can have the best?
