Hi Fjetcrazy I cannot trace ZS-BBH as having flown today on flightradar24 ?
See reply pasted below to Facebook enquiry competitive prices please also add the Harare Lusaka route LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 1 · Yesterday at 8:03pm fastjet Zimbabwe fastjet Zimbabwe Hi Gilbert, We would love to but unfortunately our aircraft cannot cover all routes. We hope to add this route in the near future. Thank you!
Looks like our aircraft BBH is broken or undergoing maintenance as we had to borrow SA DFC again today
Looks like we had a problem with BBH and had to sub out to SA to cover our service. Hope all back to normal tomorrow.
which shows No availability information for this city pair/date but does show some listings when entering VFA-JNB There is still a Glitch.
Well they have made a start, they have put a copy of Fastjet Places in flight magazine on the Website Blog for access, now they have just got to get the Website editor to change the old link at the bottom of the page where it still has a link to the old copy of Travelsmart. My bet is more people will still use that link and not find the new version on the Blog until this change is made.
Marksman Thank you very much for attending and reporting back on the AGM. I live in Scotland, so geography is my reason for not attending. Had it been in Edinburgh I would definitely have attended. It is gratifying to know that the Leaders of the Company view our remarks and comments and that they can tell the difference between real followers and the Nuri's of this World. I am sure that with this knowledge of our post's being observed, we will continue in the same vein in the knowledge that action may be taken, even if we do not receive the reply dialogue we would like.
Thanks Fjetcrazy, have now read the whole pdf. but is does not say much for our efficiency if we cannot get our own magazine on our own website, it is not rocket science.
So Far Automatic Reply pasted below. Thank you for your email to investors@fastjet.com. We value your views and, whilst as a quoted company we cannot enter into a dialogue with singular shareholders, please be assured that we take feedback from our shareholders very seriously and where appropriate we will take action. In addition, we regularly communicate all material developments to our investors via the regulatory news service and will of course continue to do so in the future. Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback. Best regards, Nico Bezuidenhour CEO fastjet Plc
I have sent an email to Fastjet regarding both these faults, lets see how long it takes to resolve.
Well it seems that they have one, but due to an unbelievable omission on their own website front page bottom link it still shows the old version. I have also not been able to view anything other than 2 pages on the Twitter Link
from end of this month. Did we know that ?
We were assured that the next issue of Travelsmart was imminent. Surely our Aircraft are still not using one that ended at end of March when we are nearly in July ?
Whilst the Triple Daily starts at the beginning of July, the HRE-VFA does not start the extra Monday rotation until Monday 17th July.
Yes you did not imagine it, earlier this week it showed the original schedule for Tanzania reverting back I believe on 2nd July, it has since changed to now revert back on 2nd October, which I believe is when it was said we would have the new smaller Aircraft.
On TZ flights no seat selection choices are we not convinced which aircraft type/size we are using ?
Nico does not seem very good in keeping private investors up to date with progress, hopefully we will get a detailed RNS soon.
This is now way overdue and presumably it is the last old edition in our Aircraft. We were promised this a considerable time ago and I wonder if it contained some expected items that have not become effective yet and therefore cannot be released just yet ?
Sounds like fault on both sides. This happens regularly around the World about groups being removed or refused boarding due to bad behaviour. I have however never heard racial issues cited as a reason EVER BEFORE. It is clear to me that the ratio of adults to children was too low, and also the adults involved did not take enough appropriate action to warn the children of possible consequences. Normally groups being denied boarding are alcohol related, stag or hen party trips or sport related and the crew should have used a more relaxed view and allowed a bit more tolerance and adequately warned the adult carers of possible consequences if they did not regain order. I am 100% sure that safety and other passengers welfare will have been the reason, and to quote RACE as the reason is reprehensible.
As we cannot carry such a Big and High Calibre Team in South Africa for Long with the flight schedule that is left and 1 Aircraft in each of Tanzania and Zimbabwe with no spare aircraft for faults or maintenance downtime. I just hope we are told soon what is happening to prevent share price drift.
