GH would have not given away 20% of GGP for $1.5m lol.. do you honestly think that’s a good deal for you as a shareholder ?? For $40m.. most of which is costs of it all goes ahead.. Newmont will own 75% which leaves very little left over for you ‘little guys’

Actually from a quick scan it looks like Newmont can acquire a 51% for the same value as Newcrest paid for a 10% in SOLG. Looks like you guys got the raw end of the deal. GL

£2m investment by Newmont isn’t exactly mind boggling. With a further £4m up for grabs for 75% stake. Wasn’t the newcrest/Solg deal 50x greater that that for half the size of initial stake ??

Pretty fair to assume the delay in news is due to the delay in the Chinese investor getting fully onboard. The sooner that gets wrapped up the sooner we should be able to move forward I think.

Kelladee, I too have lost money in this share years ago. All of this was down to the previous CEO and his lack of substance. I still hold those shares, albeit a 200th of the amount I held back then due to the consolidation. They are actually worth more now after the consolidation since the SP has also risen a little since. I actually hold more shares now at the new SP than I do of those which were converted because I've bought more since consolidation. If Stephen was still at the helm following the consolidation I'd have been completely written this share off. It's not the consolidation that has cost you cash. Fact. Google, share consolidations, am pretty sure you'll find all the information needed to help you understand the situation and more also. GL

Kelladee, I'm afraid these guys are correct. If you've lost money I would advise you contact your broker to find out why that is. A consolidation is a straight forward process. There's 200x less shares on the market and the shareprice on that is 200x what it was. How can you be any worse off ? If this is not understandable you shouldn't be trading/investing.

I tried a 50k dummy sell and was offered 0.51p. I also tried a mil sell and was offered 0.46p. Yeh rite !! Ok duffers, Any idea ? Why does it show in recent trades as a buy. When volume is 2.088 mil with two trades(share price column). Yet there are no sells and only 88k reported as buy ? Look at the difference between share price column then the one below it. Perhaps it's headless chicken syndrome. Google that and see what comes up. Hahahaaa.. Sry I'm just rather bemused. I was thinking perhaps we're meant to lose ours :D

Failing that I'd suggest it's bcos MM's are a bunch of diks. If destroying current market value to create a continued market is the way forward. You'd think the schools would already be re-thinking their old lessons.

Market cap of 7.66mil divided by shares in issue 1.53bil gives share price of 0.0050p. My guestimation would there forsee a better market cap would equally result in a stronger price. So if you say M.Ashcroft owns 1.333bil shares for which he payed 32mil. Would that suggest his average price is as a result 2.4pp/s? That means anything below that for now is a reasonably good transaction. Right ??
