Hi Fell, HSBC opened yesterday equity swaps in PREM, Glencore and PEEL dated with maturity of 10th October and expire 29th October. Could be nothing but could be a signal of some news coming

Swaps also happened just before the Glencore LOI was announced so can def be a good sign as well

My thought is that Prem are running a 22 day production run to prove that the plant can run consistently based on what Graham Hill said in the previous RNS announcing the run & looking for consistency. So if that is correct, I’d expect news about it to come out around Monday next week. But just my thoughts

@jaglith, the 11th June 2025 RNS states that negotiations with Glencore could begin by end of August but doesn't mention when an announcement about the results of those negotiations would be given.

'The FTSE100 listed party to the original LOI (as announced on the 23 April 2025) has agreed that further negotiations between them, Canmax and Premier should proceed as soon as grade and recovery is satisfactory and this is expected to be in either July 2025, based on the insert performance, or middle to late August if Premier needs to wait for completion of the secondary float circuit.'

Thanks for sharing my post @NK77, I had wrote that post for another platform to help people who are learning trading/investing and in particular penny stocks...with no intended judgement or criticism, just hopefully to educate/help with understanding the realities of the current share price and what could potentially happen...I had seen some people were hoping/believed it was possible for £1 per share to be achieved in the short term and hated that people might make investing decisions based on those assumptions

Sure thing Fellwanderer, it seemed positive to me too, I especially liked Graham Hill’s positivity and that he believes everything to be resolved is surmountable. The best thing was he seemed very confident and excited to be involved. It seemed a very good thing that the plant is restarting tonight with the 29 Enprotec staff refining those parameters mentioned for recovery improvements. Hoping this is the start of recovery for PREM and a new season for all us long term holders!

From my POV as a long term holder, the appointment of Graham Hill is a really good development. It doesn’t guarantee anything, but for me it feels like it puts the daily operations and management of PREM/Zulu in experienced hands. I had seen a lot of people on here mentioned Graham had stated somewhere that he wouldn’t be willing to get involved with PREM until Zulu was closer to production or when there were developments, so that gives me hope that behind the scenes he must be seeing that things are headed in a good direction.

A couple of months ago I would not have remotely considered adding to my holding and had pretty much written it off as a loss, and now with the Glencore LOI, GR stepping down and Graham Hill stepping into this role, combined with the current SP I have been investing further.

On a funny note, I bought these recent shares via a different broker and it is the first time in years that I’ve seen green for Prem!

I was at the meeting via Zoom, and IIRC I believe someone named Bruce employed by PREM, confirmed the successful SC6 grading of the spodumene, and referenced third party labs testing and also in house testing both confirming this, but if my recollection isn’t correct perhaps someone else who attended can correct me further. I did take some notes while listening but didn’t specifically write that part down.

Overall my impressions of the meeting and what was shared is that it was overall positive while acknowledging what is still yet to be done to get things working successfully.

I didn’t hear that mentioned but I was 5 mins late getting on the zoom so might have been talked about before that

Did anyone attend in person or on the webinar? Interested to hear others thoughts on it, I personally found it encouraging and positive. Good to have some more detailed timelines for next few months and I found George thoughts on other materials aside from Spodumene interesting. Still a very long way to go but I thought it all sounded ok, and confirmed that Graham Hill is definitely in consideration at least.
