and it's gone from 36p to 48p.Surely the price should have gone up more ?.Is this true that shorts went up today ?.
If so it happened after it hit resistance at 48p.Is this not a good sign ?.
A question,not a statement.
Well yes, explaining it that way i take your point.
I'm not complaining but could you explain level5 in more simple terms.Lack of clarity happened during Covid, so if you could bear with me and give it another go.
As i say,not having a go (never do),but could you enlarge as i'm sure what you saying is in no doubt very insightful.
Remember that no amount of positive or negative chat on here is going to affect the market. The big boys are not watching this site or taking any notice of what we are saying. So we can all be truthful, and not go off on one when somebody has an alternative view.
The market is,what the market is.I remember back in the 1973 Bear market when the index lost 73%,that people declared that the market had got all wrong. You go with the market and wait for it to turn.
The BIG question and the most important one is WHEN.That's what we have to work out.If you bought at 31p and 35p by all means top up at 40p,with the same amount that you bought when you bought at 31p/35p,but don't go all in !!!!.
As for me i won't be buying yet,and i obviously have the capacity (like everybody else!!!!) of getting it wrong!!.
So good luck to everybody, including those that bought lower than today.
A gap of hour and a half without a post.Where are they all ?.
48p hit, then it drops. Will it push on through 48p again ?.Interesting times from here on in.It would need to bounce off 40p or before if it goes lower. Then it would need to push on up through 48p to start looking good again.G.L.A.
GYR1,i asked a question,I made no statement.I bought at 58.5 and had to sell at a loss,i hope to buy sometime as i'm looking to buy (as i have said on numerous occasions).Sound like a Bear ?!!
You and Trustgod are late to this site, where have you been ?.
T4g,it was either CNBC or the Ian King live programme on Sky.I only asked as i thought it would be food for thought for any company in the future, when assessing their chances.
Manipulation or not,i agree this a real hotchpotch of sudden sharp rises and falls and volatility.I said some weeks months ago that this share would need to be monitored closely.I was thinking on a day by day basis, but it needs to be watched Hour by Hour minute by minute!!!!!!.Blink and you missed it.On the 28th of Sept. a wild swing between 31 and 39 occurred.Tricky to say the least.
One day Boo will bottom like all shares (can't see it going bust ),but exactly where is it ?!!!!,That's the $64,000 dollar question, and what's the answer ?!!!!!!!!.
apparently i'm a shorter,er no,hope to buy one day, been on here since 200p,saying that i'm looking to buy.
Price is right, but as anybody using T.A. will tell you ,the percentage play at the moment is to wait (yes charts can get it wrong ,e.g. a bid out of the blue). But everybody uses one method or another,i only give an interpretation of Charts.
Trustgod has an opinion, and good luck to him,but he is screamingly sure about things, but a person should not (and cannot)be THAT certain about things.I certainly am not !!.
Anyway Trustgod good luck with everything.I still have no info as to profit warnings though. (that's a statement, not a dig at you, hoping to spur someone to give me an answer ).
are the mother and father of all ****-ups(so the saying goes).I thought maybe i would be misunderstood.I was only trying to find out the maxim behind the saying and what the actual figures were to trigger this statistic. So that i could use it later wherever and whenever it occured.
I've only read the first few lines of Trustgod's post and realised that he has attributed views to me that i don't actually hold.
I did say in my post that i had no idea how many profit warnings Boo had issued (if any) ?.I shall read further to see if he has actually answered my question.Respect to Trustgod anyway, but let's not jump the Gun on things.
Another well known saying;2If the ft index finishes off January higher than the start of January, then the market will end the year higher".It worked from 1945 to 1972,then the dreaded Bear market of '73 scuppered it.Anybody know if worked since then, and were the findings useful ?.
Any other maxims out there that are useful,or even, unbelievably spot on ? !!!!!.
Didn't i read somewhere that companies that had issued 3 profit warnings, had a high percentage of failures (40% ?).
Maybe i got the precise figures wrong ?.I have to say that i have no idea how many Boo have issued, but can anybody enlighten me as to the figures behind this.
Not long now till we reach 48p.
It's getting there, slowly but surely.Resistance is there at 48p.Will it after a small dip press on up further ?,or will we get more disappointment ?.G.L.A.
Nice move up this morn. With a bit of luck we could well reach 48p.The most important thing is what happens then.Does it push on through 56p (after a small decline),or does it head South again ?.
Still can't see much happening till results come in as to how bad or good retail fared this Winter.
80% discount at Asos ?.That doesn't sound right ?.
We HAVE seen this all before.S.P. making heavy weather of it."It's an up day,"yeah, but only just!!!.
Are Norges still in this ?.What price did they buy at?,iv'e forgotten. So much for supposed clever thinking.
Low Volume ?.Are not most investors sitting on their hands and just waiting to see how ALL business has fared in the Winter?.
Would be a brave man to venture to look into a crystal ball and come with any opinion about results.Has the potential to be a nightmare for retail.Black Friday was supposedly good, but if you were to spend and had to spend money, then Black Friday with the bargains was where and when EVERYBODY was going to buy.Not so much the case for the run-up to Christmas!??.How many are cutting down on the cost of pressies ?.
Short term 48p is doable, less would be a sign of weakness ,and if it headed down from there,31p would loom.It needs to close above 56p ,for it to have any semblance that 31p was the bottom.
By the way i don't sell shorts ,or any other men's clothing items.
I don't want to move on,i want to buy low.I'm only doing technicals.I said this could go to 48p,(not a negative comment !!!.)
But on a technical level,i don't feel because of the weakness as well ,i don't see it going higher than that.A close above 57p would be good, but if it heads south after a 48p close, not a good sign.
Each to his own, nothing wrong with being confident, but i'm only giving a T.A. view of things.
Soooooooooooooo w-e-a-k,the s.p.Like watching somebody trying to sweep wet mud up a steep hill.,keeps falling back!!!.
Will need better momentum if it's going to ever reach 48p !!!.So disappointing.
Well we got a bounce, but it's disappointing that at the moment as it appears to have curled over and not yet following through. We shall see,tho i think we will be lucky to get up as far as 48.5p.it's hit resistance at 40p already.
Suggest we all ask Should have done to keep us all appraised as to what's going on.Still not confident about the future based on T.A..The way this share moves how can anybody have confidence!!??.
I can't see how Boo can go from 56p to 25p without a rally. That would be virtually a 50% plus fall without any rally at all.
So surely one must come soon.Poster Should Have Done said 36.13 bounce would happen. We wait to see having touched into 35p territory whether we get a rise from here.
If it keeps going all the way down to 25p,one must ask if there is something in the background that we are unaware of !!.
If this was another company we would be asking what on earth is going on !!.But we shall see.
I can only comment on the technical aspect as regards this share, and there's a lot more posters on here that can analyse the T.A. on here better than me.But if i closes lower than 35p,and more iimpotantly if it closes lower than it's last low (30p circa),i'm afraid bad wouldn't be the word to describe it.It would need a new word in the dictionary.
But let's wait and see.One more thing,we haven't seen how bad the incoming news of this Winters figures will be.
I suggest a sit on hands strategy might be appropriate.
