Wish I had the kitchen sink to invest today… unbelievable SP
ABC news : COVID live updates: Rapid antigen testing expected to become more important as Australia moves away from COVID-zero goalhttps://newsapp.abc.net.au/newsapp/100438692#live-blog-post-1203449904
Blimey bilbobumbler…. You really are short sighted, what a weird title, you must have a screw loose.
ITM is perfectly positioned now as a tech co to scale up its products, mass manufacture into a colossal emerging global market …. Its coming to the fore with the world’s largest gas company Linde at its side to offer renewable clean gas, and its a global leader in its field. Cooley and the Gang are doing a terrific job, and today’s media coverage of e damage caused by methane puts the focus on ITM, which is terrific for the company.
Asymptomatic
Doesn’t mention CT value, testing the asymptotic is the future, Avacta will shine through. Could not be more relaxed the last year development of a diagnostics division that is now selling tests and that can rapidly develop a range of highly accurate tests for various diseases is v exciting. Have to admit I didn’t even invest for this product opportunity . Avacta rock!
Should add, held since 2015.. and not invested for diagnostic reasons
…. Before Avacta or it’s diagnostic division is snapped up! It’s just a question as to how quickly contracts can come in on the diagnostic front to cement a £20,30,40bn … sky limit market value.
20yrs of small cap investing, never been more excited by the short medium and long term destiny of a company and it’s range of tech, applications, markets and suitors.
Does he understand:
how critically important CT value is in detecting the asymptomatic ?
The need for a fast, low cost development of tests for new variants ?
What affirmers are?
What an amazing opportunity to develop global leading diagnostics designed and manufactured in the U.K. ?
Has he been to the Weatherby Whaler?
It’s not really just ministers that is the problem, it’s the civil servants who propose solutions to issues and steer the mechanics as to how to undertake a means to an ends, and advise often constrain the minister in what he/ she wants or needs to do. Yes minister, but ….
Problem U.K. government ( politicians and the civil service) is run by those qualified in Classics, history of ware fare, politics . PR and accounting…… not an engineering scientific qualification nor business experience among them… compare with Germany where the opposite applies. The civil service is bloody well not fit for purpose, led by muppets and the same critical decision making incompetence in health extends to energy policy and a total lack of interest or understanding in climate issues.
It’s the capability to produce new affirmers rapidly and low cost compared to alternatives in response to future variants, if need be, that may not be covered by current test, that put Avacta in an incredibly strong position as the go-to diagnostic platform for screen testing. Incredibly exciting times for the company, in the new evolving global industry.
BMW uses Toyota Fuel cell electric power train tech...
should help:-)
The reason plug-in cars arrived first is because every auto OEM first needs to develop and mass manufacture a reliable electric power train. Fuel cell vehicles like the Mirai have the same power electronics drivetrain as plug-in cars, but the energy storage is slightly different. So a fuel cell car fills up with hydrogen that is stored in a tank and is then combined with oxygen in the air to produce electricity that the feeds the drivetrain, with a smaller battery, there are also supercaps as well, and so you have the ultimate hybrid energy storage on the vehicle. Plug-in electric cars rely on the battery, full stop. With refuelling times and range the same as petrol equivalents there is no disruption. All the OEMs have fuel cell strategies, most relying on there being hydrogen refuelling stations before commencing mass volume manufacturing. Look at Germany still building stations, almost 100 now. The no compromise clean emissions for business and society demand fuel cell, it’s the only way to achieve mass and rapid adoption for air quality and decarbonisation of transport.
Worth getting a copy of the FT just to read the advert that states what the colours of hydrogen mean, why Enel is investing in green hydrogen and why electrolysers are so useful. It’s a great piece of messaging that ITM don’t have to pay for, with bonus of endorsement of electrolysis for renewable energy.
Bound to be a choked schedule for the team today with investors, they will have impressed with yesterday’s presentation, I predict strong upwards movement next week, as Avct included in portfolio stock acquisitions.

Wakey wakey !
Amazing RNS...
Can you or can’t you... catch a plane, go to an arena , enter work places etc etc etc is the reason why we need Avacta’s range of products for a long long time globally on the basis of risk...new strains, limited immunity, and the global movement of people that will take years to cover with effective inoculation. Chill, confident.
This to me is the game changer.. at long last advertisers can have high definition in game advertising... this is what has been the hold up.. hence H2 weighting. https://www.adexchanger.com/data-driven-thinking/why-next-gen-consoles-could-be-the-next-big-marketing-opportunity/
Bids will rocket this year.
Well even £14 could be low, just look what happened to Tesla. ITMs tech products are critical to decarbonise processes that traditionally rely on fossil fuel derived hydrogen, like fertiliser and petrochemical products.... these cannot be decarbonised with electrons. It’s a ginormous global market, and very few players. A classical pinch-point in supply | demand where there is limited alternative, and that is becoming an instrumental technology adopted by EU and government policy. This is a share that will be talked about in many years to come. Enjoy
