W2T can only take the lion's share of any project if they put in the lion's share of the capital expenditure i.e. the investment into that project.

Stokey: I would be inclined to regard the "customers" as the people who will be buying the electricity and/or hydrogen that's generated, and perhaps those who pay gate fees to get rid of their plastic or tyres. Regarding the remaining 80% of net revenues, my understanding is that this will be retained by the SPV company (or JV company) because that is the organisation that will be paying the capital cost of building the DMG unit, and operating it.

Ultimately the shareholders (or partners) of the SPV company will benefit from their equity share of the profits of that company.

It wouldn't even need a top-notch PR team for AFC to keep its pi investors reasonably content. All they need to do is put out the odd RNS now and then just to let us know that they're still awake, and to keep us up to date within reason. Then at least we'd have some rough sort of idea whether we were ahead or behind competitors such as this, without having to grind our teeth and worry and speculate.

They claim that they have "the only low-temperature fuel cell solution that is platinum free". I thought that's what AFC had, exclusively?

They also claim "a revolutionary process that allows our GenCell A5 Off-Grid Power Solution to create hydrogen-on-demand from ammonia without any power from the grid." Again, I thought that's what AFC was developing?

Perhaps I've got this wrong, but can anyone with more technical knowledge than myself confirm whether AFC has been overtaken here?

We've had this issue in the past with other statements that have been made by W2T. And I didn't like it then either!

Just a shame they wrote "acquires" when presumably they meant "acquirers". It's just a lack of attention to detail which gives a poor impression. I'm from the "old school" where we were taught that attention to detail is important.

Plastic for feedstock does not have to be cleaned. That is one of the great benefits of the PHE system, because any contaminates get annihilated in the UHT gasification process and become part of the syngas. That is why PHE can deal with plastic that cannot be used for recycling because of contamination. At the present time such contaminated plastics can only be landfilled or incinerated, both of which are "bad".

As you were! The original document was Feb. last year, but the reference to the HoT is a recent update, so it seems I was too quick to correct myself!

I don't understand why they are talking about land purchase for the site. I thought they were going to lease a site from Peel at Ellesmere Port.

If you mean should PHE fund part of the first unit along with other partners, then I would agree with that as a strategy. Although none of us want to see further placings and dilutions of existing shares, in order to get this thing off the ground I would expect most existing shareholders would not object to a further raising of equity to fund say 30% or so of the first DMG unit, along with perhaps a couple of other partners in a Joint Venture business (SPV).

The report states that they use renewables to produce the hydrogen, I assume they mean electricity from windmills, but the report doesn't specify.
