Ethio wouldn't be hanging on every word seeing as it is translated from Russian anyway.
The assets are driving the talks but it doesn't mean you wouldn't buy the whole company to secure it's assets. Just that's what's driving the interest (not revenues).
Interesting to read anyway. 2,500 an ounce must be an average basket from WK I guess as that is more platinum but has the highest value metals thrown in. Rhodium is an asset many countries would like to have I think. For pacemakers, research, car making, space exploration, etc. Really not a lot of it about and really very useful stuff. I posted the other day a uni in Ohio just found the most efficient way to make hydrogen fuel from the full spectrum of light and have used rhodium.
I learnt a new word anyway "platinoids" and think it is my new favourite word.
