RE: Hostile Bid14 May 2021 13:25
I think it's always open to a hostile bid and partly why figures not given yet. From the power of 78 tweet with the SP Angel Interview yesterday it looks like they had a figure given but if they work more of the resources up to JORC rather than Russian State standards they may get more. I guess they already were asked to prove up the JV and did so with Rosgeo, etc. Which all hints that they really are looking to maximise the deal as they say.
I think there was a mixture of good news and anticlimax with last RNS. Caught many when not expecting. When read it again a day later knowing what substantially all means technically all read very nicely - offers, delays due covid/site visits, several parties continued interest, when Rosgeo JV formed one party stepped up, now wanting to focus down on best offer for special divi, as was mentioned all along since the DS interview late 2019 with proactive.
Looking forward to ACF's new valuation report they claimed will mean a few sleepless nights working on. That was the tonic last time to shift it into double figures. Bloody hell daren't imagine it will take it to triple figures but hopefully over 50p. Seems like half of what they say is a reasonable expectation to account for risk. Took the guess work out for many.
You can poison the well and doubt it all but the Nomad, UBS and DLA Piper should show it's a credible situation. Our jeopardy continues. Been a wonderful investment but god it would make you think twice again putting your life on hold for best part of 2 years. All relative to circumstance I guess and if you had enough in to make you a million it's different.
