Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
Looks like to become a sizeable CCS player using funding from Cambay profits.
Looks like a good one and if comes off would see massive returns.
Some oil industry recruiter and services guy was telling me CCS was going to be massive and to invest in Technip, who are big in that space. They don't fit my investment style but I was already here for Cambay so have added here instead in the hope RW is going to boss it or set up the mechanisms for the company to flourish regardless.
Seems clear we are really gaining traction in North America and getting noticed which this offtake shows.
Important players have bought into the mission and Sean is humbly and diligently moving dirt to reveal the rewards of the drive, vision and enterprise of PJ who gave it is whole heart and soul creating another platform for success.
There are definite signs of some hammered stocks bouncing back just now. This one has the Rick Rule investment for the uranium going for it just now so I am expecting it may plus 50% before too long. Some new models have failed suddenly like Purple Bricks but others like Versaerian regaining some ground. Money coming out of property just now. Can stick it in savings at mo but doesnt keep pace with inflation at 4.5pc. I think british stocks are largely undervalued and more so outside the top 100. This company has been very busy and a very different company to 2020 with many new licences.
This has been my best share this last year but jarvis want 350 quid to transfer it to canada! Is that right? Bespoke quote. Feels like ransom.
Funny how some on think they are so encyclopaedic they know everyone's movements for the last 5 years. But mostly they just come up with this vague bitter BS vaguely suggesting wrongdoing all the time to poison the well. When you know 10% of the movements you can see it's basically asking you to falsely join dots, when some of the dots themselves have already been moved. Which is basically them trying to say they were right all along and didn't actually look a complete tit, and ignore the fact the BOD did a brilliant job bringing in top names/advisers and were just foiled by grandad ****head to quote the Wagner group about somebody nobody likes also. That war might be over sooner than we think but it's very bad taste to go around goading people who might have lost money (or made lots and gone risk free) but some people have even less scruples than teeth.
This seems to have fallen out of the sky very quickly. BS was mostly fine a year ago. Strike must think they can pick over the bones. I was shocked this was only worth £6m yesterday. Personally I think the small town estate agent and surveyor is quite a nice set up. Even Hunters doing franchises I find quite cannibalistic and unnecessary. These things don't "create jobs". Even so thought PB had a good offer and brand worth much more. An agent helps you cut through a lot of rubbish though and has a local name to protect. PB maybe never got on top of that shortfall or people saw through it not being really any better value in the end. Maybe Strike know this too.
Wow they really hard at work today trying to recover their shorts.
My attention is very much elsewhere but I do know any time this is going on a reversal is more likely than it was.
Lots of smearing and made up stuff on here today.
I was a fan of Paul's style and what he tried to achieve. He no doubt did make quite few people money here in the recent peaks. I always thought if he left it would be a massive blow. I suggest he has maybe overworked and left himself in poor health but do not know of course.
I do think he leaves something of value but might be some turbulence incoming.
I think those warrants built in to the rescue package here were a fair momentum killer and were given away far too cheap at the time in too much quantity and became an elephant in the room for me. Whether they were a con or just necessary measures not sure. In some ways covid cheques and freetime made the pot overboil. Then lots of stupid money went into mental worthless crypto and monkey pictures and left the whole market on life support.
I am out for now but if Sean Wade impresses might change my mind. The fact he has no skin in the game is a big reversal though.
Paul still stands out as a guy who had a bloody good go and achieved a huge amount and I remain thankful for his spirit.
I think he got a bit too immersed in timings of RNSs and playing it like a game maybe he should step back and re-evaluate what's important (but it appears that's exactly what he has done).
I think he thought it's a 1 in 10 shot and if he had 10 shots it would work and it's strategy you can have as a gambler/investor and if you get double the normal luck or two bits close together that's when you win. But this race is not over just extremely hard operating conditions at the moment and it's not even like British commerce has the power and influence it used to enjoy so ever harder to accomplish as anybody other than a behemoth.
It's been a tough time with delivery strikes coming after a decent time for home leisure sales. Figures and graphs bound to look a bit squiffy but doubt it's huge cause for panic.
I've added a few today. Sold a dog or two and thought where do I feel confident. Didn't want to snatch at the latest riser so just thought well busy PJ has had success in the past and a good spread of projects, and the tungsten, uranium, gold etc all could do well when it turns. I was making a good living from AIM 2 years ago off very little starting cash but in meantime been learning computer programming on a bootcamp course and making hay while it's bloody freezing outside. Personally I think crypto and NFT madness has wrecked a lot of sentiment, and Putin of course but it's nice to know what to do when things are on the up rather than be starting from scratch like before. I luckily started in a bull market and will just wait for the next but I do think most shares are in a decent buying zone. Top FTSE shares are not so cheap, as people have run to them even from property taxes and charges but there is some value there still and more elsewhere. This is where can set yourself up or just bide time and learn patience and craft. PJ knows about adding value. Probably built too much too quickly at one point but eventually it bears fruit if you make lots of good little decisions they add up eventually it's more reliable than one big windfall or bit of luck.
These are a good start for one of the many potent projects POW has. There seems to be multiple close layers of quartz vein gold, importantly at shallow depth. That can seem like thin intercepts but this is very commonly how gold is found, and can be more easily targeted. It's possibly not quite the dream scenario but if they keep finding it at such high grades could well be a goer or spark major interest.
