Thanks for the informative valuation posts. Also might be worth considering that on a more solid front foot a further exciting prospect may be ahead, once Manica production is fully established. This is what CB has already stated is the plan for XTR.
Hi coffeecups I have had past success. I didn't manage to go to the conference where CB was recently. The way they work is to give out mobile number, probably of Joel. They ARE busy which is why they are not always answering calls to shareholders. This week I will call the office and leave a message. I will ask for an email address. I will try to call the mobile as well. I will post my success at this tomorrow. You may want to check my posts.
the one problem with an open pit mine would be the worst rains for at least a decade (I've done my own research to confirm the truth of that). Now we are actually getting very detailed news about where the gold is being found (including where the larger lumps are!!) in the current RNS. It is certainly Colin's style but what is perhaps counter-intuitive to some is that charm is deceitful and therefore the lack of it is truthful. I am certainly going to phone XTR this week and ask for a clarifying RNS at the earliest possibility and a reiteration of Colin's long term strategy which is to get onto a solid footing with Manica and then progress to the next prospect. That is certainly happening, for example we are now on a very solid financial footing with debts sorted and now the objective is to get to full production which will the RNS tells us truthfully IMO vary from month to month. Also Colin's style, there is a certain amount of you scratch my back and I will scratch yours which I thoroughly approve of since it both minimises long term risk and maximises long term opportunities. Best comment so far, who was it who said "XTR's time is yet to come". That is why I have topped up.
So what do you think is the value of Manica to XTR over the life of the mine? It is not ramping to say that, on the basis of that value, the share has got loads of upside. The only thing I am not surprised about is the very short term reaction of the market maker behaviour on this RNS.
improved revenues month on month, and also have identified that the terraces have larger nuggets. I will be phoning to ask when further news on this will come. Because if it is true then well worth holding as valuation of Manica too low even before fall. CB does need to keep us updated and I will be directly asking that he does so from here on in since his reputation now depends on it. I have topped up and am still expecting the same result long term.
https://www.worldweatheronline.com/manica-weather-averages/manica/mz.aspx Go to the averages chart for rainfall on this website and if you click ALL you can see that rainfall for this time of year has been significantly higher this year than in previous years. Weather forecast ahead is much better :)
I've sold some shares that I didn't really want to sell which I suppose shows confidence. I think I've got a few weeks to reassess. I am certainly expecting a bounce back but am not really in it for that as am an LTH since the shift of focus to Manica.
3.1p very easily IMO as rising price will increase interest but revaluation still has a very long way to go. I suspect from former comments that CB would like to coincide Manica good news with further new opportunities if he can while staying in the rules.
to new highs in double digits :) We will see but the SP rise now is going to be a preempt of the positive RNS so that when the RNS comes out the MMs can do a tree shake! We will see if I am right but I've decided not to guess the SP!!
this is at a very very low valuation at the moment, so watch out for tactics. First peak of 3p to 4p will only be the early sign of a much higher valuation. Also CB has said he is looking for new opportunities and this will generate significant media interest all IMO DYOR.
Good article by proactive investors, thanks Parisise. When we get to that doubling of production, CB is planning to announce new ventures, and that is why no news is good news :) Re-rating on the way very soon IMHO.
