Yes. Yes. Because "Brit" has long been a term of abuse by thugs. Anyway, trying hard NOT to get drawn into a debate about offensive terms of reference, let's keep it on BOIL, eh. :)
Ah, I see I am also a victim of censorship. :) Lol.
Those asterisks can be replaced by the word spelled out with the initials:

Imp

Self
IE: those who put others down by their birthplace or skin tone. IE: idiots.
Just quickly to address that censorship issue. If ******s didn't exist, then there'd be no need to apply such measures. So blame the ******s, not the people trying to level the field. Anyway, back to BOIL and its frustrating lack of progress . . .
Ha ha - indeed you were guesstimating at 3.5p, BodRuncie.
I, too, was at the low end at 6p and wondered if I was being too conservative. Still invested here, and still thinking it should finish the year on a new high; just needs signatures on contracts now; always the tough bit dragging commitment over the line.
Hi wyndrum. As the chorus of responses suggests, for most posters here the feeling was that spud was factored in.
I personally thought the recent slight retrace of the last week might reflect uncertainty because of an absence of news, and would be recovered today by a 5-10% bounce.
To be fair to you, I think there were a few novice rampers making silly posts of "Boom-time on spud" (etc etc). But the more informed seasoned contributors all felt the price wouldn't react.
The wonderful thing about filtering certain BB posters is that you get to see the reaction, but not the spark of idiocy that caused it. Rather like astro-physicists infer the existence of a celestial body by its gravitational pull on nearby stars/planets, I can see Chris2 is active but I'm not wound-up by his opinions and their lack of substantive evidence.
He's the only person I've ever filtered, btw.
And copper is up today. Oh. Sorry.
Light-heartedness aside, I had feared a more significant drop today on that RNS. Still frustrating, but support seems strong at 0.9.
ha ha - yep, me too. Squirrel's nut here. Not heavily invested but buried for a year or 0.5p - whichever comes first.
Good luck all.
Oh come on, predator7. Take one for the team. If you sell then we all gain. Guaranteed. :)
So do I Wolfy. I hope he invested this morning.
Now stop ranting at everyone. You've made your point (singular) repeatedly. I, like many others here, know what we're dealing with in exploration mining.
Funnily enough, EWT98, this multi-site/commodity resilience is something I mentioned to a friend this weekend as a reason I like UFO. And today its value is proven. Came close to testing my stop-loss, though ! :)
Transfer from yesterday.
@star786. Inspired by your comment that N4P gives regular and timely updates, I tracked back to an earlier post of mine from about a month ago. I listed the meaningful RNSs by month over the previous year, and then made a remarkably prescient comment:
"May 2020 = 3. Placing/Broker, Patent Filing, Covid update
June = 0
July = 1. Work Programme & Strategic Update
Aug = 1. Positive Covid In-Vitro Study
Sept = 3. Tech Transfer & M'fact, Covid PoC Update, Interim Results
Oct = 0
Nov = 2. Operational Update, Nuvec/Oncology launch
Dec = 2. Formulation work update, £2M Placing
2021
Jan = 0
Feb = 2. Intention to Grant Patent, Final Results
Mar = 0
Apr = 0
May = 0
It's been a long silence recently and work - we must assume - is continuing behind the scenes. My post isn't intended to criticise, just to point out that something's increasingly likely to land soon. As a reminder of what may come in the next few months:
Oncology - Stage 2 of the programme expected to conclude in Autumn (up to 12 months from Nov 2020)
Nuvec in-vivo - due to commence early in 2021 (did I miss announcement of it starting ?)
Patent - full grant should take 6-8 months (started in Feb, so due in early autumn)
Nanomerics - 14 month research collaboration started Feb 2020 (so expired April 2021 ???). Announcement could be imminent on renewing Nanomerics agreement, or new research partner
But for me the prime suspect for news would be the collaboration discussions with potential licensing partners."
A week later we get announcement of the MTAs.
So, yes, N4 does provide updates generally but there'd been a VERY long gap this spring. Which makes me think there are likely to be a sequence of them in the next 3-5 months which will take the company forward significantly. I hope.
AHA ! The invisible anchor is revealed. And we're a day closer to HappyHaddock's second half of the year.
Or "HH H2", as I like to call it.
A week away from BBG's investor presentation, and soon after that (or maybe during !) an update on Donovan, and then soon after, a decision on the EH tailings. (Monty Burns): Excellent.
I do love a civilised BB. Thanks for the info, TopCatz. It's useful to get that contrary view when it's backed up.
I'd add my opinion to the more bullish chorus, that news on completing the US sales team and formally launching the campaign in America would go a long way further to reassuring investors that the indecision a year or two ago has been replaced by effective execution. On balance, IMO, the price is more likely to go up in the near term.
Especially if traction is quick and they can evidence early clinical take-up.
Very interesting find. Especially when linked to earlier comments from our CEO about the potential for Syngas/hydrogen and the 3-yr arrangement with Toyota. Excellent share, aandi.
Don't worry Max. Wolfy only ever seems to surface shortly after Chris2 has made some asinine comment. And I don't see a green box on my thread right now.
@HH - either it goes some way to explaining why we're confident on the same company. Or you'll eventually find the hidden camera in your desk-plant.
That's funny, because it's actually one of the things I like about BBG. He's not the sharp suit. He's a geologist first and foremost. Arguably you want your CEO to be a CEO first and foremost, so I understand your perspective. But for me, I like that we're seeing and hearing from the primary technical person in the company.
Maybe it'll change as the company/complexity grows and he's forced to either give up what he clearly loves, or choose to bring in a CEO to run the business. Pure conjecture on my part. Not suggesting a coup !
@HH - your posts are either 100% good sense, or they make me chuckle. Thank you.
I think UFO bb is similar to many others (I think you'd agree it's similar over at ECR). Just thankful it's not like EUA; 450 posts a day of mainly vacuous nonsense. Impossible to find any actually informative contributors.
And Parkboy38, I'm with you completely; irritated at the last fortnight's muted response. But my belief in the probable medium term keeps the keel even. Just think how sweet it'll be when your patience is eventually proven right. :)
