Would be nice to think the change of mind on the trading update is because they realise that any update is no longer really relevant to the value of the shares, since the value of the shares is about to be determined anyway as the highest bid.

Earlier "takeover RNS" probably said enough:

Now, without the wait for an update, there's nothing to hold this back from moving into the 30s.

So 100p now, after dilution, is equivalent to about 164p before dilution. Quite a difference, but most would still be ecstatic about 100p.

Re NHM, it didn't take her long to find a new role as S&M Director, but looking at Airmax's (very abbreviated) accounts, it looks like the company's been struggling even more than Trakm8 has been (at one point relying on support of parent company to avoid a going concern qualification). So a great title for her, but it doesn't appear to be a step up from her last role.

It's true that Albert Bridge has upped its stake to 17.99% - but only from 17.97%.

They'd better get a move on, because at that rate, it'll take them 2 years to get to 30%!

According to the RNS, three parties "have approached the Company regarding possible cash offers", not the other way round. Information gleaned during the refinancing discussions may well have prompted one of the PEs to propose a takeover. However, I don't think many people believe that the AA didn't drop any hints to the other two PEs that it was open to offers.

Finding value in the equity "a challenge"? So they obviously don't believe that one of the potential bidders has already mooted an offer of 40p, per the Times.

As a shareholder, an equity raise wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

If it happens, I see no reason to ditch SB, so no major implications for Trak. At least the AA is not going belly up.

The opportunity for spreading the virus is probably greater on planes than on cruises, the main difference being that those infected on planes are disgorged into the general population to create a “diffused outbreak”, as opposed to the concentrated, contained outbreaks” occurring on ships, which are easier to manage and control but are also apt to be blown out of proportion by the sensationalist media.

The threat posed by planes is therefore arguably much worse, but there is no suggestion that planes should stop flying.

But then government policy towards dealing with the virus is full of illogicalities, and the cruise industry is probably an easier target than the airline industry and less effective at lobbying.

The raw H1 result - a modest profit , maybe - won't tell us much, it's the breakdown between Q1 (loss?) and Q2 (larger profit?) that would be really interesting and significant...

Very interesting. Good to have the pioneer of UBI batting for us! Trakm8 clearly have some excellent people. If I weren't already invested, I'd definitely be tempted at this critical stage in the company's development.

I agree, Mansfield would have been offered the options at the time of appointment, but only subject to things working out, which I would now assume they are.

But for the others, some chunky options, including 400,000 to Peter Mansfield. It looks like he must have bedded-in well, so good news.

It’s also good that the options are not exercisable by the directors unless the share price gets back to 50p, so if they rake it in, so will PIs (or at least significantly cut their losses!)
