I don't think an RNS confirming a deal will be issued during trading hours, in which case we won't hear anything until 7am tomorrow, or 7am the next day.....So more SP drift.

If there is evidence of a leak of an impending deal, the shares would have to be suspended until such time as an RNS confirming the deal can be issued.

flyover- if nothing else, IAG will enjoy getting in the way of arch-rival Virgin, ie making it more difficult and expensive for them.

Microlise passed a resolution on 21/9/18 to authorise the directors to enter into a facilities agreement with HSBC.

So it looks like they've been in discussions for several months, and that at the time of the results announcement just 3 weeks ago it was already likely that a deal would be done.

I'm not surprised at the SP drift: I said 2 weeks ago, after the spike, I fully expected this to happen which, helped by the falling market, it certainly has.

With hindsight, it would have been better to get out at 24p and get back in at 16p, but it's always been the case that a deal could be announced at any moment, so dangerous to be out for any length of time.
