Agreed. I was joyfully walking along the beach on a lovely sunny day for my pre work exercise, seeing my holding tick over into profit and thought all was rosy. Fast forward 5 days and back in a 30% hole. Based on nothing. It’s utterly pathetic but a great learning curve - think about AIM investing? Take a sit down, close the app and breathe. Then invest in multi asset funds. Or the roulette wheel.

Level of buys v sells makes no difference. MM’s literally just sit there choosing what they want the price to be at any given time.

Gunto - as I said previously, when I say “it’s over” I mean in the sense of massive testing contracts, not that the virus has gone. Let’s face it, we’re not getting money from the government, they don’t even pay for the contracts they have, as they’ll likely go overseas for either some cheap rubbish or something that benefits their friends and donors. Therefore we need some news about overseas contracts if we are relying on covid for income. Otherwise, we absolutely need a post covid plan (we need this anyway). I genuinely think this new variant furore is over cooked and as such we can’t rely on it.

As for being bad at it, yes I am as I am still learning. Trading and investing is a huge learning curve, hence why a much larger proportion of my investment is in multi asset funds which can’t be manipulated on an hourly, daily and weekly basis. Yes I should have cashed in the lot on Monday at 8.30 when I was in profit, but I didn’t and so I’m back at 30% down. Such is life. It was another dreadful decision as I could have been out and putting the money and time to far better use. As it is, I didn’t and therefore am still here discussing and trying to prompt debate amongst those who aren’t rampers and derampers (got a very good idea of who they are now).

John - fear of missing out on what? They tell the market absolutely nothing so what is being missed out on? Cases going up? They’ve going up, and high, for months and months and months yet all we have had is a spike after the investor meets company session and end of last week and early Monday (based on a pump and dump). It’s a shambles.

I think it tells its own story, you’ve nailed it. It doesn’t tell us why but they either don’t have much confidence going forward (post covid plans, anyone?) or they’re keeping it down for a reason. Either way, it seems fishy.

More chance of £3 than £4. Monday seems like a lifetime ago.

What have you based that on? Or are you another ramper? We had the big spike in august and the big one recently, maybe another in 3 months.

We had our chance to get out £4+ just a few days ago and we blew it.. this is ncyt - get a random massive bump and then weeks of red and back in the £2’s. It’ll be £2.50 by year end. Absolute f’ing joke.

KHHMOZZI it’s absolutely baffling. Suggests they’re keeping the price down, for whatever reason. Surely the new CEO (I’ve heard there is one) has an incentive plan and part of it is to boost the share price. Shout it from the rooftops. Nope, nothing, just a note to the cesspit that is twitter

Picax - you tell us. The company doesn’t bother. If we want to know anything it may appear on their Twitter feed but certainly not in an RNS. No doubt they’re working on stuff but they literally don’t give a f about shareholders. Also, if prospects were that good why aren’t they BoD piling in? If I was CEO and knew we had good things around the corner I’d be piling in at £2.20.

We’ve been at 40-50k+ cases since last Dec/Jan and not have much of a rise other than a few pump and dumps, so what’s different now?
