Not wishing to rehash but nobody said it was nothing like politics . In fact I think it's common knowledge that unions are considered to be Labour and fat cats the Conservatives. What we said was that being a union member is not the same as voting for a political party. That's all.

How can someone so old be so juvenile? Even if he is actually on a daily walk (which I doubt) for someone with such a high post count who is often the first daily comment at 6:30 in the morning, guaranteed he's got his phone with him refreshing this page every minute. It's his life. Poor guy.

I think maybe it's you that needs to read your posts mate , in one you say you get to vote on the government's proposals and then in the very next you says that would be ridiculous to suggest we get to vote on government proposals. Were as WE do get to vote on every proposal , then WE decide if we are happy to accept it. That is why being in a union and voting for a political party is not even comparable. And then you lower yourself to redstripes standards and start insulting posties suggesting royal mail is in a mess because posties are stupid. Jeesus , the clue is literally in the title the UNION. A group of employees UNITED in UNISON together in UNITY fighting for what WE believe WE deserve. Yes we may employ a mouthpiece to negotiate for what we want , but ultimately the decision is ours because WE ARE THE UNION. Why do you think TP used to be a postie and all reps are posties? When you vote in an election you’re voting for the party you want to represent YOU in parliament. They make proposals YOU vote on them. The CWU are the same. Dave Ward tells you what he thinks and then you either vote yes or no? It’s quite simple?

When was the last time ( outside of brexit did you get to vote on a government proposal? We get to vote on every proposal the cwu negotiate for us. Ultimately its our decision what we accept. I don't get how you don't understand that. I think you are looking at things a very biased shareholder type way.

You picked the one of very few referendums that the general public happened to get a vote on. Comparing the government to the union is like apples and oranges . When you vote Labour you're just voting for the party you want to run the government , with the union you vote for the terms and conditions YOU want to have . WE are the union. We didn't vote for them , they are there to represent us .

Cwu haven't offered a figure to it's members because rm haven't offered one . And the cwu aren't going to offer rm a figure because that's not how negotiations work. You said it yourself in a post, rm go in low and cwu go in hi. 2% vs in line with inflation. Them it gets hashed out. Its the hashing out bit that rm won't take part in unless it involves changes. Quite simple really. If royal mail do happen to come back with a offer the cwu will have to put it to us , we are the union.

If royal mail offered us 5% no strings attached and the union put it to an employee vote I for one and I suspect many others would accept it to avoid AI.

The CWU have suspended negotiations with the current shackled team and requested a summit meeting with the chairman and CEO directly.

I never denied saying you had multiple accounts , in fact you didn't have to waste your time going that far back as I accused you only a couple of weeks ago saying that you were jb.
