PB always interviews very well Sunday, but yesterday he was sparkling. Normally he is quite measured in his speech and gets faster as he talks about something exciting, Ortoire for example. However, yesterday he was speaking with open excitement all the way through. I get the impression he wants to say ‘i know something you don’t know and as much as I want to tell you, I can’t.’ He looked like he was going to burst yesterday.

Honestly, I get the feeling Coho-1 is better than PB hoped for.

I didn’t average down yesterday as I have enough in TXP already but what an opportunity that was and actually still is.

I just opened my iPhone and I have the stocks on the open screen. TXP showed, well I thought it showed, 7.27p in green!! ‘YES’ I shouted, much to the the surprise of the lady next to me…. However, it was just the percentage change and not the pence.....I was so excited for a moment!! Ha, one day very soon and we will be flying at those levels!!

Sunday - I may have the timelines wrong? I read that line of 'Testing operations are expected to be completed next week.' as the drilling part will be complete and that would mean that there is another week for checking the results. Isn't that what PB mentioned at some point? A week for testing checking the results.

Simon - yes, the long awaited 2p rise ina day will be smashed but currently it will need a storming set of results to lift this back towards 20p. As for the red dot, I saw the FB headline before I got here this morning and already knew it wasn't the RNS of Coho results. If I hadn't of seen that then yes, I would have been fully expecting the Coho news we are all waiting for.

I think we are in for a rough day today unfortunately. However, as I have mentioned, I am still positive for the long-term.

Ol well.....I was in VOG for years....I learnt patience so this is nothing new. I'm sure we all have similar stories of patience. Not sure how, blind luck obviously, but I actually made profit in VOG. Anybody that knows that company will know that it could only be blind luck that allowed you out of that one with money in your pocket!!

So if I have this correct, it will be beginning of December for Coho-1 results, a week of testing and results a week later and January for Cascudura results? A month of flow at CAS and testing before TXP will offer the information to us. Put Christmas in there as well, maybe results not even the beginning of January?

You know I am positive on TXP so get me wrong on the following.
I know the end justifies the means etc. but actually, I thought this RNS contained news which the market will not like. Delays, permit problems, mechanical problems, production down..... Not TXP's finest news delivery.

As I said, I am positive and remain so, and I know looking for natural resource is tricky at best, but I am disappointed by today's RNS.

I hope the news is worth it when it arrives. I am hoping that the Coho-1 has news that says not only that there is X amount of gas but also that there are plans to move it via a new pipeline to BP.

Hopefully the Casandura news will be of a good pay depth of oil.

It is very interesting to note. AB is quite a slow, measured speaker, that is until he gets to the part referring to Equinor releasing JOG from the option through declining the offer. AB's words come out a lot faster once he begins talking about life at GB post Equinor. You can see he is visibly excited (if that is the correct word?) about what he and the JOG board have landed and are now taking forward.

Most likely no partner news for a couple of years but derisking all the way and therefore becoming more and more attractive to a big player. In whatever form the big player materialises? Buy out or farm-in.

A good interview to watch if you haven't already done so.

To answer my own question, maybe no rise or a little rise for the Coho-1 results RNS and possibly the market will only take us up considerably once Coho-1 and the others are online producing? PB stated that the markets want to see product rather than hear about it. Possibly we will be waiting into the New Year now for any possible rise?

I wonder what the market will add to the SP if TXP prove up 600/800 boed from Coho-1? Something at least....I hope.....

Did anybody else think PB sounded a bit grumpy towards the end of the presentation? Maybe I imagined it? Not his normal form so it stood out for me.

I have a lousy connection for some reason. If somebody is able and willing later, could you please bullet point wehat PB is saying? I missed the first 12 minutes completely due to connection, therefore I assume I missed the Coho-1 update?

So the last 2.5 months have been the option period for Equinor and they have declined. So does that mean that for the last 2.5 months no other possible suitors could see whatever data JOG has and Equinor were looking at? Or were JOG permitted to show other parties the data they had? I’m not necessarily talking about the same oil figures that even we know about, I’m asking about the detailed information that Equinor would have been looking at? Whatever they may be?

Not sure Ross? I checked as often as I could this evening whilst the budget was live, and then checked again through the bullet point summary. I didn’t see anything pertaining to SPT. I assume PB will update us tomorrow evening with any knowledge he has on the subject.

MoU is Memorandum of Understanding:

Okay, the minister is on to oil. Heritage are going to 'MOU' with Royal Dutch shell. I guess that means merge?
