Best looking exploration story I can remember in hottest location for years and aside from an hour of rallying prior to the bizarre TSX spike, the LSE SP has done nothing but dribble for nearly four months. The LSE SP now needs to do more than 40% just to get back to the LSE highs (only 15% for the TSX). How on earth are we so far below the small sticky placing at this stage? The epic prospects, the utterly deadwood price action, the gulf of the TSX-LSE spread, the huge discount to placing, the strangely vaccuous buy side of the order book and the persistenly ruthless ax are a shocking discord. And now to top it off the rig has arrived and we dribble again. The quantum of bizarreness is IMO a reflection of how epic this opportunity is and how determined some interests are to keep people out.

Well said Mani. The SP action here the last few weeks has been odd indeed. A ringing indictment of UK investor tendendcy to prefer chasing garbage because it's going up over a solid investment or perhaps a concerted effort to discourage the great unwashed from building a position given what lies ahead. It was only in the last few days of the rise to 101p that I noted a few of the herd arriving on this board. Jonny-come-latelys that bought in the last four months will be under water unless they sold a few on the highs. Once the drill bit starts turning those without a position will have to decide if they want in or not for our Grand Guyana Voyage of Discovery. Note that UJO was already a week into drilling before it started is very large and rapid rise. GLALTH

I said earlier this year that the next move would be to buy ALBA's stake in HH. I also suggested that we will see a large ramp in SP to support the partial payment in UKOG shares at a significant premium to the current SP as was the case when UKOG bought out one of the other consortium members.

ALBA has many many projects, a very low market cap and next to no funds. They've been ramping constantly the last few months with RNS after RNS on a whole range of projects, their directors had to invest some coppers at 0.30p to keep them ticking over and yet the best they could achieve was a £500K placement at 0.20p soon after. Clearly ALBA are very stretched for funds and this is why they have to prioritize their spending. UKOG is the oil company and ALBA is primarily a mining company with its Clogau Gold, Greeland and nickel assets. It makes sense to focus on that. Selling UKOG will give them funds to concentrate on Clogau in particular, which looks more interesting now the gold price appears to be on the move with interest rate cuts pending.

ALBA's lack of funds puts UKOG in an excellent position to get an great price by paying with as few shares as possible. Expect UKOG to really work the shares higher on the back of HH drilling which will ensure a high price for minimal dilution. A bigger share of horizontals for UKOG and a bigger shares of revenues is all good here. Expect rig details and mobilization date to be announced in the next few days. GLALTH

Hammerhead-3 is located right on the very edge of the Hammerhead prospect as illustrated on the prospect map. If flow testing is going ahead at this location it is likely that productible hydrocarbons have been encountered right at the edge of the field so I would expect to see a decent upward revision to Hammerhead field size.

Currently 4 brokers are at 73p and 3 at 72p on the bid, yet BEGO sees fit to hold the ask at 73.2p despite the next broker being at 77p. They've been sitting on the ask for some considerable time now and it's getting tiresome.

Correct Diversified. ECO have indicated they have enough cash for up to 8 wells, not 6, not 4 and not 2. That Shares Magazine 'so called journalist' needs a good kick up the ar$e like the rest of them. Given that some prospects are stacked, 8 drills means ECO is already fully funded to drill 10 of the 15 CPR targets on block. Chance of 10 dusters? LOL. CPR states 100% chance of oil charge at every one of our prospects with seal and trap the main issue, yet this was OK in at least 13 out of 15 cases on Stabroek. I'm certain we're going to hit oil, it's just a matter of how much and when. My guess is in 6 weeks time. The biggest risk here is not strapping in for the ride. This likely will be one for the record books. Don't let the AIM drift mug you of this fabulous opportunity. GLALTH

It's not a problem. The original deadline was months ago, but no RNS was issued. Next RNS will be an update on site survey permit IMO and if positive expect it to include news that APEC payment has been made. Expect PVR to remain schtum until then. Judge will need a little time so give it two or three weeks.

I think the market has completely misjudged this in assuming there's an issue with APEC. I think PVR's accountants and NOMAD wanted PVR to show that funds were due before signing off on this year's accounts and hence the RNS. The very next morning we had another RNS stating when these accounts would be released. Had it not been for the survey permit dragging so long on into this year's audit PVR would have kept schtum about the $9M and just waited for the site survey permit to be issued after which APEC would have released the funds.
