Given the bonanza grades previously encountered, the very encouraging surface findings and the amount of exploration being done, ALBA has an excellent chance of discovering a significant amount of Welsh gold which would massively increase the value of Clogau and ALBA. That's why this is an excellent time to be invested here.

Perhaps it's your timing that was sheet. ALBA's prospects certainly aren't. With lots of news flow from a major Clogau exploration campaign dead ahead ALBA is right now in the sweet spot. GLA

Not so Degsy. If results are excellent SP will re-rate and ALBA can do a placing a higher levels. The placing a few weeks ago was at 0.065p. This one was at 0.275p. If results are as hoped next one will likely be much higher or we may attract a farm in, especially given the Royal connection.

Well said Ocelot. Wider markets are a bit queasy again this morning, but if news flow is good the market is still happy to re-rate individual stocks. GUN, POW and UFO are all doing well on the back of their news flow and all of our news is yet to come with a big chunk over the next 6 weeks. Same for my positions in UFO, UJO and WTE so I'm happy to hold there also.

Surely not from selling on Friday and buying back today though as you'd have to have sold 37.4M @ 0.42p on Friday and bought back 46.2M at 0.34p.

Markets were in free fall today particularly metals, yet ALBA finished 27.2% above the placing price, which itself was above Friday's open price. Over £1M extra in cash in the bank and Clogau drilling campaign upgraded to include up to 5km of surface drilling for one of the most ambitious exploration programs ever at the mine all starting next month. This is a total game changer. Very exciting.

My L2 is showing 0.33p to 0.35p with UT at 0.35p, so we closed more than 27% above the placing price. Excellent.
