ALBA has traditionally rallied into major news as per HH and Clogau news is still all dead ahead and now includes 5,000m of drilling to locate lots more of that super high grade Welsh gold. This is a real game changer as this round of exploration now has the potential to bring about a truly massive increase in the valuation of the Clogau project. The fact the SP has held so well and significantly above the placing price in such poor market conditions speaks volumes for the quality of ALBA's investment case and the significance of the news flow that will be flowing thick and fast over the next few months. This is excellent news. These guys are not messing around. A proper fundraise for a full on exploration campaign at Clogau including 5,000m of surface drilling (!) to locate more veins of exceptionally high grade Welsh gold. This size of the placing and the rate of acceleration in proceedings is a clear indication that the BOD realise this is it and are going full bore to explore Clogau as quickly as possible. The fact that ALBA was able to raise this much cash and above Friday's open price shows the insatiable demand for ALBA shares at present, which is completely unerstandable given the huge gold bullmarket underway and the exceptionally high grades and highly prized nature of Clogau gold. Proper placing, proper drilling program, proper golden opportunity. I'm more confident than ever that Clogau and ALBA are really going places. Time to buy those dips. GLALTH

Yep. Clearly they're expecting large returns from their significant shareholdings. Two of them are were at AIM tiddler Cove Energy, John Craven as CEO and Tom O’Gorman as chairman, and Cove was bought out for £1B+ after major success offshore Mozambique. These guys know what they are doing.
