Last few days have been odd. Plenty of excellent stocks with solid discoveries going down yet plenty of total rat shyte with no ounces and no real substance moving higher. Several gold stocks with no ounces on the board are at higher market caps than CGNR. Total joke. Sigh.

Nothing to compare with GGP? In a sense that's correct, however go look at OMI. Obviously not attained the level of GGP yet exploration wise, but it's a very good candidate to do extremely well and only a fraction of GGP market cap. Two super majors on board including Newmont with a near 20% stake in OMI, free carry, excellent grades, suggestions of 11MOZ+ with several other large prospects on block, drilling starting very soon. Will it reach £1B-2B market cap like GGP, maybe not, but it's market cap looks odds on to increase massively from here and surely that's the key. ECR similarly is even earlier stage, but likewise is even lower market cap than OMI. All three stocks are at different stages and all look a very good at their respective market caps.

You have not bothered to factor in their other assets, some of which are world class JORC resources and worth a lot of money.

Nookie, you make it sound like this is a binary event. It's more of a process. We have sampling results, underground drilling results, trenching results and surface drilling results. They will create a picture that builds up over time.

SP action seems a bit odd to me the last few days. I did think we were about breakout to the upside a few days back and uncertainly of the impact of the Welsh circuit breaker lock down was holding us back. RNS cleared that up, yet we fell and SP is still holding. However, if you look across the sector you will see a lot of stocks have stalled. My guess is the markets are on hold until the outcome of the US election is known, which is now only a week away. Once that uncertainty is passed I think we'll see a lot of stocks resume their positive momentum. Trump win and printers go BRRRR. Biden wins and printers go BRRRR^2.

SP starting to gain some traction again.

I took some on the open after doing further DD over the weekend. If had been looking at this as a gold stock, but quite clearly their zinc asset looks fantastic and is the main driver here. Drilling underway to increase JORC on a sizeable zinc/lead resource directly adjacent to huge Glencore owned deposit where exploration is also underway. Company talking about a possible Tier-1 deposit and ARK's net share of JORC resource is already worth over £500M. This looks an immense bargain as this microscopic market cap. STRONG BUY

I've looked at all of those already Trek except for CCZ as it seems primarily copper. They all have their relative merits, but my favorites of this lot are WSBN and ECR. WSBN is very close to Telfer and Havieron and ECR is closest to Fosterville and Ballarat, so both look to be in excellent postcodes with ECR the pick of the Victoria stocks and WSBN the pick of the Pilbara/Paterson stocks. THR is already nearly £20M which makes it the most expensive Aussie gold explorer ex-GGP yet its still very early stage. THR is Pilbara, but last time I checked it's about 250km from Havieron, whereas WSBN is only about 20 miles from Havieron and 6 from Telfer. PALM's exploration plan looks slow. COBR seems hundreds of miles from any really chunky finds. EEE are selling Georgian assets so perhaps they will get more Aussie acreage. Need to wait and see what happens with Rincon IPO for GUN.

Why go to the trouble of setting up a new investor group elsewhere? Why not just post here instead?

I'm all for diversification, however rather than buying tiny stakes in lots of projects, why not muster all available resources to maximize our shareholding in Rincon which looks an absolute gem. Even better, rather than listing Rincon on the ASX, why not reverse it into GUN. UK investors are foaming at the mouth for an opportunity like that and demand would be off the Richter scale. I have a decent holding here, but the more they focus on Rincon the more I will invest.

Initial rally was far too fast to be sustainable, but we've had a major pullback and the price seems to have stabilized, so I'm back in and with more shares this time. Expect gains to become more resilient as re-rate unfolds. GLA

Thanks Carribean. I thought it was odd calling the business Lake Victoria Gold given Lake Victoria was in East Africa, but the penny never dropped LOL. Your essay will be quite useful in helping people understand the investment case here so it was not a wasted effort. Anyhow, time for some beauty sleep before I make any more gaffes.

ECO directors and related holdings are 17.67% including Moshe Peterburg 6.23%, Gil Holzman 4.56% and Colin Kinley 3.33%. That's real skin in the game.

Slift, I agree 100% and if the big boys Shell and Exxon are deferring ECO would be nutso to go ahead. Wait for success on third party drills and then farm down the Namibian blocks. GBP has rolled its Namibia commitments numerous times and I'm sure ECO will have no problem doing so especially in the midst of a global depression.
