Didn't OMI CEO say multiple rigs drilling Anza by end November all being well in the recent interview?

To clarify THR to Havieron about 250km, WSBN to Havieron about 30km. OMI still my top pick though as WSBN is still early stage although with an excellent postcode. Good to see metals starting to move back up. Expecting shorts to cover ahead of election day, either tomorrow or Monday.

Wise words Bhargav. The markets might be having a bit of a wobble again, but at least it gives me time to research all the LSE gold stocks a bit more. So far the more I read the more OMI sits at the top of the pile. Not only does Newmont hold share in OMI, there are very very few LSE gold juniors whose shares are held by other mining company let alone a super major like Newmont. OMI is rare indeed.

THR doesn't border GGP's Havieron license though, which is the one the fuss is all about. Looks about 250-300km away from it on the map so the proximity to GGP is a bit of a canard. Fooled me initially too.

No wonder given our closest licence is only about 19 miles from Havieron. Interest going forward here will be huge. GLA

Almost all gold stocks are down today and 21 down 7.5% or more. Gold only down just over 1% though. Jokers.

I can understand Telsa and all dropping big time, but a whole load of small gold stocks only started to really move last week and are now in the dustbin again and at crazy low valuations in many cases despite gold being through the roof. Utter nonsense.

I'm not convinced COVID has anything to do with the sell off. Vaccine is closer. Second wave should be less severe. Market knows what to expect. Markets hate uncertainly and the election is the uncertainty right now. The only thing that surprised me was how late they left it to trigger a pre election selloff. Short sharp clean correction then off we go again. I liquidated all my less convincing positions the last day or two to build up a cash pile ready for here and a few other opportunities. Also went long VIX using VILX. GLA

It's just pre US election repositioning. Markets had factored in a Biden win, but is now factoring in a swing to Trump. Trump wins we get a dip and then market explodes higher almost immediately. Biden wins we just rip higher out the gate. Only a few days to wait. In either case debt issuance will accelerate significantly and metals and all other commodities should go parabolic going forward. Expect stimulus deal to be agreed fairly soon after election, although I reckon they may wait until second COVID wave is near its peak, which should be a few weeks yet. GLA

And also just ONE ASSET making for a very simple value investment proposition. Nothing else to drain cash or confuse the valuation and the CEO gets it. Sit back and watch as drilling is done, ounces rapidly proved up and OMI sold at a massive premium. Absolute peach.

Don't RR get paid per hour of flight time their plane engines do? Terrible right now, but once this COVID is passed SP should rocket. Your call may be an excellent one after all what else would the airline industry do without RR engines, operate gliders?

Agreed. Even my top gold pick OMI is down 7.5%. US election is causing the drop, so hopefully won't last much longer with only 3.5 sessions to go until result.

Hi Trek, I did have some ROCK, but after re-reading their latest drill results decided to bail. Can't remember exactly the details, but they still seem to be hunting for decent grades and implied they might be at depth, but on the picture in the RNS the grades seemed to be getting worse as they went deeper. So where are the good grades to come from? Have a look and see if I've completely missed the point.

Frustrating to see this declining. Seems we have a bit of risk off until the US election is out the way next Tuesday, so gold stocks should begin to strengthen again in a few days. Still, at least it gives me time to finish more of my gold sector research while we're waiting. ATB
