If I had to guess I imagine a big chunk of this cash will be used to pay off part of TLW's enormous debt to reduce the gearing of its balance sheet and then TLW will do a partial debt for equity swap (placing) to reduce their gearing further. When that's done and dusted I expect we will get greater visibility on timescales for Orinduik.

I was hoping TLW would need a debt for equity swap to sort out their balance sheet as I though this would be the most likely scenario to accelerate Orinduik drilling the fastest. My only fear here is that cash injection will allow TLW to turn things around in a slower organic fashion which means Orinduik might take a bit longer.

My comment you refer to is quite clearly my interpretation of the facts as presented and I neither quoted them as being from the RNS or tried to attribute them as such.

Today's RNS states,

'The programme is scheduled to continue until the end of October, following which we will move into the formal assaying of all the drilled and sampled material ...'

and

'Samples of the drill core from the underground drilling programme will only be sent to an accredited laboratory for assaying once the entire drilling programme has been completed...'

Read together those two statements do not appear to be contradictory in any way and suggest samples and cores will be sent to the lab end of October as anticipated. With timescales similar to last year result should be end December beginning of January as already stated ... ages ago.

Parsley's phrase 'completion of all programmes before Assay' does not occur within the document.

Sorry, but I disagree. It took a lot longer than 2 weeks for results last year.

Funny, I was just about to ask on here what people thought about the THR RNS. Those results are very early stage and the assays reported so far are well below the surface sampling figures for the Dolgellau gold Belt. Funny that THR is now £20M and ALBA only £27M. THR jumping 55% on an ordinary update like that seems more an indication of rabid PI appetite for gold exploration stocks rather than due to the RNS IMO, but perhaps I'm missing something. ATB

The drilling was originally scheduled to be finished by the end of September, but was extended into October, which we knew already. '...assay results to be issued some time thereafter, depending on the normal timelines and workloads of the independent assay laboratory.' If you bothered to check the time delay between end of drilling last year and issue of assay results you will see that assay results should be expected end of December beginning of January, which I have already pointed out.

Stop talking shyte and do some proper research.

The problem with slicing is when do you do it, at 10p, 15p, 20p, 20p, 30p? If you'd done that you'd be out of the money. Also OMI is relatively illiquid and is often very hard to buy back. If you only have a small holding you might get away with it, but for anyone with lots of shares you're taking a real gamble. From a fundamental perspective OMI looks such a good investment I don't want to lose any of my shares. Why risk it for a few percent when the upside is so huge already? ATB

Me too Repression. I'm very surprised by today's price action especially with other Aussie gold stocks WSBN, COBR, PALM and EEE all up big today. I guess it's just consolidation while peeps buy elsewhere. Up again soon enough. GLA
