I'm well aware of BOIL and its operations and nobody is questioning the potential prospectivity of this licence. The issue here is the length of time until there is any news of substance whatsoever as AIM in particular does not wait 5 minutes for news let alone 2-4 years. BOIL also has a nasty habit of spikes with savage pullbacks. Were news imminent it would definitely be worth taking a punt, but at such an early stage I'd be more concerned about getting locked in and losing the ability to invest the money elsewhere in the interim. Best of luck to you though, this is not a bad stock, just very early.

So nearly two years before we even hear if a well be drilled and then some time after that in maybe 2023 or 2024 we night get a drill. Rallying this this far ahead of news is beyond laughable. Do newbies realize that AIM stocks drift savagely when major news is just a few months off never mind years. Currently there are stocks with nearer or even imminent drill operations that are failing to see any uptick in SP whatsoever. Sorry, but all I see for BOIL for the foreseeable is P&D as per usual.

Eggs, despite at least one reference to them holding BTC, I have not included any BTC in the calculation as I have not found any reference to a specific number of BTC. If they do hold any then that would add further to the NAV.

The RNS are all listed here. Start from 2016. It look me a few hours and I did the whole process twice to double check. My findings are also in broad concordance with another source posted on the internet, so I am confident in my data.

It's all in the RNS statements. If you forensically analyze their RNS statements since the beginning you will be able to construct a list of their positions and how many token they have in each position. When aggregating multiple transactions in a given token I have noticed that the numbers match exactly what I calculated they should be so they appear to be very accurate. What we don't know are how many ADDITIONAL tokens they have acquired in staked positions, so the actual amount of crypto assets is almost certainly greater than this figure and the NAV also. This is why it suggested that it might be prudent to add 6 months of staking yields based on an average yield across the portfolio of 12% and assume 50% of this has been sold. At £177M baseline NAV this would add an extra $5.3M or 4p per share taking us to a NAV of 138.4p.

£177M equates to NAV of 134.4p. SP was 240p when NAV was 120p. Wacko SP movement.

Off the top of my head NAV should be around 130p at £177M.

Any word yet on the pricing of the limited edition NFTs yet? Will be interesting to see what price they set. I would imagine the most limited editions will be quite expensive.

DODGY indeed. I agree on the principle that a severe pullback usually leads to an equally severe rebound. I see BTC, which is the main driver of the crypto space, is basically unchanged over the last two months yet we still have this panic. Crazy. I do wonder if this is a mid bull phase shakeout to get retail out of the sector as much as possible before the institutions buy everything up and then crypto goes mainstream as we move to cycle highs end Q3/Q4. A two months plus cycle top in BTC makes little sense.

On a personal level, I've sold almost everything except KR1 and ARB this last week meaning I will be flat on the year even if they hit zero, so I'm in an excellent position to let this ride out if needs be until. Right now I'm taking a step back for a while to go and enjoy spring until the market sorts itself out and we're back over BTC $60K. GLA
