I'm getting nervous as DOT is moving above $42 again. At least twice lately a sudden spurious move higher in DOT from around these levels happened immediately prior to BTC imploding and dragging the entire sector with it. Come on Dotty.

The rest of the sector has been complete carnage today so ARB's spurious out performance might be a telltale sign of NASDAQ news tomorrow. I would expect a spike higher on the open if that's the case, but given that HUT and BITF have both cratered since announcing their NASDAQ listings in the last few days, I would expect ARB to also retrace sharply unless there is a major rebound in BTC. Pity the NASDAQ news wasn't announced when we were at 250p. Still, it should help on the next leg up.

It depends on what BTC does next IMO as alts get hit hard whenever BTC plunges. The bullish technical picture is somewhat tarnished with BTC making a lower low and the price now well below the stock to flow. We also have options expiry to look forward to again in a couple of weeks, which has been front run the last few months by a down move in the price. Hopefully this isn't the start of a lower leg in BTC as we would likely see further retrenchment across the alts. GLA

BTC is now well below stock to flow for the first time since Christmas and has also set a lower low so the outlook is starting to look somewhat bearish. We also have options expiry in a fortnight so I'm not sure we're out of the woods yet. Hopefully BTC stabilizes at these levels or the sector might get ugly. I certainly don't think any of us anticipated a Feb peak for crypto stocks and the last few months has been very testing. Hopefully once this is over the sector resolves higher for a second leg in H2. GLA

Yep. For some bizarre reason KR1 is completely incommunicado with BARX at the moment. I can see my shares in the portfolio, but there aren't any buttons to send a buy or sell instruction and the stock search does not recognize the ticker. Sigh. Perhaps I'll buy some WCAT while I wait ... not.
