Fundamentally you are right, but you also have to factor in that hope is a strong irrational motivator and further more, many of us are heavily invested and we wouldn't want to lose our investment or sell at a loss... so many might just bite the bullet one more time..

Unless we get some good news in the meantime and everybody will be emptying them wallets again :-)
