A lot of people on the internet claiming to have either sold or top sliced at the top... I may be a little cynical, but too many people proclaiming to know the top and getting out just in time.

No, I don't plan on getting in to any other funds at the moment.

@Reptilian it will always drop eventually. When it's flying you never think it will, but it always comes.

I also add when daily RSI is in the oversold region.

By setting these 2 simple rules, I usually get good bang for buck when adding. Not saying it only ever goes up after I add, but it keeps my average down.

If you see the SP is at a premium or the RSI is in overbought, it might be a good idea to wait.

Added more. Hoping this is just temporary. Market has been really bad recently.

I didn't mind the dip to 9.50 so much, it had been support for a while, but now it seems to have just started bleeding for the past 3 days.

Keeping a close eye on this, if it doesn't show signs of recovery soon I will bow out and put my money elsewhere.

Discussions do not equate to buying or selling though. I don't understand how you can lose it and feel the need to post this thread in response to discussion over holdings... Seems a bit, extreme?

From my point of view, I like to hear peoples' opinions on the fund. Right or wrong.

I was expecting a drop due to MRNA, seems we have a slight market pull back--It's been over extended for a while now so I was expecting it. I haven't topped up in a little while.

Well, I did call this drop. It's lasting longer than I expected but I have some nice buy targets if it continues to fall.

People can be invested in a fund and still have the right to criticise it's holdings.

People have been in SMT for many years, probably longer than some of you have been alive, remember that.

~950 seems to be support, it hit it 3 times in October and twice already in November.

steph may I suggest you turn on Thread View to reply to threads properly? Currently your replies are appearing in their own threads and are quite hard to follow.

I am a long term holder of SMT, so my theory about the price dropping was not to scare people.

I see these things as a chance to top up, that's all. Although as it stands I'd be wary to top up simply because of how over extended the market seems at the moment.

MRNA down 19% so far today on missed earnings and sluggish vaccine sales forecast.

MRNA is currently SMT's largest holding at 9.2%.

May be opportunities for adding more.
