Increase in prices will more than offset drop in production, full year production guidance unchanged and trading division well above EBIT. Weird that the last paragraph of the update isn't the first paragraph, but that's the way Glencoe likes to play it.

The SP ex div drops but the SP in the weeks prior to going ex div USUALLY goes up so the overall effect is neutral. There are many examples of this not happening and the SP can drop significantly more than the dividend but in most cases the company doesn't dwindle to nothing over time because of the SP increase prior to Divi day.

Not sure what the implications are of taking back control of Access World but the SP took a battering when the news came out.

Anyone got more of an insight than me?

Try reading the report, year on year improvement in many areas but not all.

We're currently 1% down but the markets 0.5% down, be interesting to see what happens if the market goes up.

Oil price significantly up again, this seems to suppress the Copper price and the SP. Money to be made here.

I think part of the problem today was that MandB in their recent update reported increased sales for the start of the year.

Haven't we already been told any offer will be all share? Back calculating to get a value for Glenda shares seems a bit previous as the share price for Rio and Glenda will fluctuate once the offer is made. I'm with casapinos in using a multiple but think it will be 15 because of the recent increase in metals prices.

Another bad day for North Sea gas so therefore a bad day for ITH, on the plus side the UT moved the share price up 0.4p.

What we need is a day where North Sea gas and oil prices go up . Unfortunately at the moment the price of the commodities we sell is falling so the SP is getting dragged down, it's the same for other UK operators, as an example SQZ issued a reasonable production update today and fell over 3%.

As I'm a dividend rather than capital gain investor I'm looking forward to the next Dividend in April.

North Sea Oil and Gas prices falling adds to the downward pressure, if OPEC don't opt for increased oil production on the weekend we should be OK next week.

Lower production but at higher value so revenue for Copper should be OK, still reads like jam tomorrow though. Kind of thing a company trying to sell itself would be happy with.

This SP is tracking the price of Copper again, there have been numerous explanation on this board as to why this is not realistic but still it happens
