if it ended up being a choice I would certainly prefer Guitry to Nordpalm, obviously if they can pursue Nordpalm as well and ensure its risk averse then fine.....as for now im happy to hear the Guitry news. Another 15-30 ktonnes of CPO to the mix when its up and running.............Any estimates for lead time for the project yet?

I've said it before but I think they need to sort out their current production and get it up to max output (and reliable!) before messing around chasing distractions like Nordpalm, which may or may not be risky growth. Although in fairness it's probably unlikely that caused the machinery fault, it may well have contributed to extending the repair time. Hmmm SP looks like it's heading to 10's again.... thankfully I've only got a small holding here, so I can utilise the opportunity to average down if it comes.... as ever I'm greedy and waiting on 10.5p's

Shame to see this fall back a bit today, this really deserves to be over 1300p in my opinion

Sometimes divis work anglaterre sometimes they don't, when a share is in distress and then drops due to ex divi, the momentum can carry it on downwards. I had a mate who was looking to enter NXT.L pre ex dividend date, but I warned him off as it was downwards trending. ATM I'm just unsure about what IS a good entry point here, no one seems to know where to go RE interest rates, inflation is uncertain as Is Brexit outcome. For now with the continued downward I'm sitting on the sidelines with this one I think. Hmmm

I sold out from here a while ago, at these levels it's tempting... and long term a pretty safe bet mitigated by a whacking great dividend (assuming it's retained at current levels down the line). However, shorters have got their teeth into the retail sector at present, so where it goes is dependant on them..... I'm watching closely for a potential entry point.

Motley fools pages are really entertainment value and not much else..... that said, I do think they have a point that we need to keep a very close eye on the non recurring cost.... at the moment I think it's all in hand, (and "probably" over baked), but we can't be sure. I think until the projects closed out that spectre will hem us in, but hopefully we can break 1300, maybe 1400p in the mean time.

Just seen on the ADVFN chat site, someone's expecting the dividend to be 100p for the full year! That's slightly higher than I expected and makes anything sub 1600p look like a ridiculous bargain (although that 100p is not official).

It's just conjecture on my part though, not fact. Time will tell. Anyway I topped up today at open, got back in at 1220, but used double the amount I sold off, so kept my average at 1280p :) plus now I'm getting a bigger pay day on dividend days.
