Should get last month's totals in a few days time, anything like the last RNS figures and we're looking pretty fair. Fingers crossed.

But yeah FK I would like to finally start seeing an uplift in annual CPO prod, let's face it we've been waiting with baited breath for years now

Personally I think in the near term it's all dependant on Covid cases... we'll need to see new Covid cases in the low hundreds to get to 6000p.

Once it's eradicated it's all economy, if it recovers fast could see > 7000p.... if it starts to look really bad and prolonged probably say hello to 3500p again.

But as usual, caveat - WTFDIK.

Just checked and new cases looks steady/ flat and low (nr 100 / day). Hopefully means minimal impact the DKL so far

Finally something positive for me in the lockdown, few good movers on FTSE too. Fingers crossed for some reasonable May figures, need to check the Covid IC stats.

Brent continues its rise upwards, and both RDSB and BP continue to stutter. I guess there's so much uncertainty regarding economic impacts at the mo, not many are piling in.

dreammachine, you must be betting pretty hefty big bucks to be coining from these pretty small swings. I only have a relatively piffling amount in ATM, but I am just in for the long game TBH.

Fair point jollyspeculator, my hunch is the markets are going to see relief from unlocking of economies, so I'd say prob consolidate current positions then leg up.... but WTFDIK etc, you could well be right.

Week or two ago this SP was about 1270p with Brent being about 30 bucks. Brent is now 36 bucks and this is still about 1270p. Seems like a mismatch to me.

Just can't understand how Brent has held up so well in comparison. Seems illogical to me, so I'm obviously missing something. I understand WTI is a lighter oil, but even so?
