My £7k investment is down to £75 due to these clowns

Well we all knew it was happening but still disappointing when it does! A massive £43k loss for me. The warning signs were there but I thought with a significant Government contract guaranteed along with the Falklanda contract getting the loans restructured wouldn’t be a problem but JW folly into the ferry business cost us dearly and has put us in this position.

The current board have done very little to help along with the Government but then it should never have come to this.

A decent company poorly run. Nothing will happen to JW or the other directors, nothing ever does it is us shareholders that will have to take it on the chin

So basically the shareholders have been lied to throughout this debacle.

The share being suspended is due to the company running out of money and the books would show that.

This is for administration unless Rothschild can find us an investor. There will be no new contracts being won and it worries me the wording around the FSS contract, to me, it doesn’t sound the most confident

People on this board are focusing on the wrong things.

That contract loss was expected as I would have expected a confirmation of it being agreed when new finance was announced. When it didn’t happen the contract loss was expected.

This company will now be sold off in bits. The Belfast yard will be key to fulfil the contract, the other sites, I expect an RNS by the end of the week, will be sold to service debt and reduce it.

I can see a placing occur IF the shares begin trading but since there has been no movement on that, I can only see it going into administration or sold with shareholders losing all.

Silly ferries was sheer madness and has cost me a small fortune with major losses here. Thankfully this will be the end of my share dealing days as it’ll take me years to recoup the loss.

JW was a fool to move the company into ferries when he didn’t have the equity to do it. The market knew straight away that it was a bad idea and the SP plummeted on the venture. He’s no scapegoat, he’s a fool that put 1500 jobs at risk so he’s no scapegoat he made the decision

As stated $25m isn’t much but may just get us through this cash flow problem .I would have liked to see the talk of the accounts being published and lifting on suspension of dealing but they must be in one hell of a mess.

Another big day re the Falklands contract, we are far from being out of the woods

HW has had plenty of time to sort itself out.

We were told all the eggs weren’t in one basket, but it appears it was. If Riverstone were in serious talks about extending the loan facility then it would’ve been done by now

The Falklands contract will head somewhere else

You’re not going to visit your workforce and say, hey by the way we are a few days away from administration but we need you to keep working as we have contracts to fulfil so someone may buys us out!

If this was to survive we would have had an update of some description by now. Obviously Riverstone driving a hard bargain or looking to see if they can break up the business and recoup some money

Listen HW will not go under, it will go into admisnistration and us shareholders will lose the lot.

It is as simple as that unfortunately.

The longer there’s no announcement the more sure I am

We need these talks with Riverstone to resolve the short term issue and keep us solvent and get the shares back in trading and then we will know where we stand.

Dilution is a possibility on the table too

The government isn’t there to prop the company up.

If HW we’re looking the UKEF to ease its financial mess it’s no surprise it was rejected and they were foolish to believe the Government would . The fund is there to assist with infrastructure not to repay a loan. The one thing I would say is that the government could’ve worded the statement better.

JW folly’s are to blame. The market won’t correct it because they won’t get the chance

Mary the only way HW will survive and shareholders see some return, is through a major restructuring of the debt and an immediate injection of funds. I can see parts of our Scottish business being sold off very quickly to subside the debt and that’s why we have a new CEO, that’s what he’s been brought in to do in my opinion.

What I want is the share to come out of suspension so I can sell immediately and lose probably 40k

Flack is not a saviour at all but a vulture.

He is no white knight for shareholders

Our issue has always been about funding, we now need someone to see the potential and invest.

The UKEF was always in doubt so we now just need funding to be secured from another source.

Our books are still good and plenty of bids have been made. We need to get over this short term funding issue
