This is such a complex situation but, so far, the pieces are falling into place and looking increasingly exciting. It's very tempting to sell (at a profit) but keeping my nerve for positive news over the next 2 months. It could be life changing for many of us! All thanks to Gideon!!

Thank you to all those who make informative posts. My gut feeling is that this journey (of many years as share holder) is , finally, reaching a fantastic result. At one point, I was at a £60k loss and now have a life changing profit. Not selling but excited at the prospect for the next few months. Thank goodness Margaret Thatcher fought for these islands especially when we are celebrating VE day!

Bigred7 - I certainly take on board the good points you make about investing more into an ISA on 7th April. My strategy will be to monitor RKH share trade numbers on 7th. If they are high, with new ISA money pouring in, I expect the MMs to tick the share price up then drop it a few days later when volumes fall. Then I will buy.

If the volumes aren't much different on 7th and the SP doesn't move much , I will buy earlier so I don't miss the unlikely, but possible, OM decision date action.

As you say, everyone to their own approach.

I am also thinking of investing my next ISA £20k into RKH but, if loads of others with the same plan invest on 7th April, the share price might go up for a day or two and then settle down until more news comes out. I'm thinking to wait a few days after 7th April to see what happens before buying more.

Agreed DK - some sort of manipulation is going on. It's mystifying that Glen's SP is falling when copper is so high - unless there is manipulation. Ex-dividend date is 1st May - so will SP rise so share holders wont be able to invest their divis at this low price, I wonder.

I'm sure it's the interaction between China's economy and the threat of Trump's tariffs that's behind this retreat in commodities. Being in the US presidential 'handover phase' isn't helping either. It will be interesting to see what Trump actually does when in office. After all, he is a businessman and deal-maker - so might have a few surprises up his sleeve.

It would be interesting to know which plants/crops use most CO2 in photosynthesis to produce O2 and food for us humans. Then a national campaign to plant more of these species in parks, woodlands, gardens, farms etc rather than wasting billions on CO2 capture and storage. I wonder if anyone has done the science - certainly not Ed!

Mad Ed spending £22 BILLIONS of tax payers' money on capturing CO2 and storing it underground is unbelievable craziness.

UK only produces 1% of CO2, has a shrinking economy, shrinking UK home produced oil and gas so dependant on importing the same while decimating the economies of places like Aberdeen where oil and gas have brought such prosperity beggars belief.

As Henry II said: "will no one rid me of this turbulent priest"!

Well, with Ed Miliband as Energy Secretary, North Sea O & G looks doomed. But, could be a bonus for Sea Lion as world oil consumption hasn't even peaked yet.

So, instead of supporting the UK O & G Industry and using UK natural resources, the eco zealots will drive up the demand for imports to 'burn' instead! UK will probably be importing oil from the Falklands in a few years! What a load of muppets!!

Sounds like Halifax are spinning a yarn. Barclays paid my divi last Wednesday into my ISA. Only a fifth of what it was last time though!

Thanks DTN. Glen's share price still seems volatile so will buy back in on dips. As the price of copper rises I expect Glen to rise too in the second half so hope to be fully back in by Autumn.

I bailed out at 492. It seems that 500 is a really tough resistance level for Glen to break through. Does anyone know if I will still get the divi in June?
