Whilst I don't care for IBAB's incessant posting and blatant agenda, I do actually agree with most of his last post (regarding equity issue, in case he's managed to post something else whilst I've been writing this).

I therefore repeat what I said yesterday;

This might not be ideal for people with averages of over 20p, but everyone else would still be in line for some potentially decent gains. There's no hiding from the fact that the dynamics of the project have changed due to the botched stage 2 financing.

The same thing that it does every day, fluctuate a bit, then finish around 0.1p either side of 3.5p.

Learning that the surgery related vision loss is not uncommon (and has happened, for instance, during the testing for the $4bn Sparks drug Luxturna), and that it's nothing to do with hRPC itself, is very reassuring. It's down to the procedure and not the drug. When the alternative is guarenteed blindness, patients are willing to accept the risk and as Olav mentioned in the webcast, they have lots of people actively trying everything to be involved in these trials.

Also, the way Olav talked about CTX and the spectacular monetary potential of getting it to market was also an eye opener. My enthusiam for this share has returned over the last week - the value of getting just one of these drugs to market could be extraordinary compared to the current MCap of the company.

Thanks for sharing. The company is chronically undervalued - the near-term deals that Hunt refers to could however help change that.

For what it's worth, BNP closed (or reduced below 0.5%) their SXX short in mid July this year.

Sounds familiar

Having had time to reflect on the RNS this morning, I feel more than ever that there is some potentially compelling value on offer here right now.

CF has previously said (prior to stage 2 funding collapse) that based on the potential future earnings, this is a $20bn company when in full production. To put this in perspective, even if they had to give away 3/4 of the company to a strategic investor to secure the £600m they need for this first phase, that would leave $5bn worth of future value for shareholders. Given that the company is now worth around £250m, the potential upside from these levels is significant.

It might not be the golden goose that was once hoped for by the long term holders who bought at 30p+, but for those getting in now it could be a very interesting prospect. If Sirius doesn't have to give away 3/4 of the company, which you would hope they don't, then the upside is clearly greater again.

Big if given the current state of things, but assuming the company should eventually move into production, does anyone know the sequencing for selling the offtakes? Is it as simple as first come first served, ie is our first TorP satisfied in full prior to any other customers getting the product?

I tend not to read the Motley Fool articles, but I am aware that they are generally bearish on Sirius. The question I would ask is why people are constantly saying that they have an agenda, or are always completely wrong? If for the last year they've been consistently saying 'here's why I would not buy Sirius Minerals . . .' and the share price has lost 90% of value in that time, then do you not think that they might have actually made a couple of valid points, regardless of any percieved agenda?

Actually, just realsied it says in Box 2 of the form:

'No trading in the stock - voting control interest over stock transferred to new manager'

Nice one, the Woodford cloud is hopefully clearing. Has smashed the share price in doing so over the last few trading days, but the sooner he's gone then the sooner the share price can actually get moving upwards again. Wonder if we'll get a few more TR-1 forms to indicate who's taken the stock off him? Or has it just been absorbed on the open market?

Don't know about others, but I feel much better about these results now having seen the breakdown from the presentation. The RNS gave us a muddled picture that was diffuclt to understand, the graphs from the presentation are very clear and in my opinion, very encouraging. I find it particularly interesting that patients 6002 and 7001 didn't initially respond in a particualry dramatic way, but appear to be improving at every 30 day check. Also, the results for patient 5002 at 180 days post treatment are truly incredible (around +37 letters); what a difference this must have made to their life. No other exisiting or developmental drug is giving results anything like this as far as I'm aware.

Not the same sensational levels of improvement as cohort 1, but still better than anything currently in development or on the market.

Wasn't there a licencing deal lined up last year (with an American company?) that got pulled? Rene got a fee relating to an exclusivity clause, but the deal didn't subsequently go ahead?

Anyway, I wasn't invested at that point, but remember reading about it prior to taking the plunge earlier this year. The point being, I think plenty of big pharmas will be watching developments and in dialogue with the company, and I'm sure they all have different criteria relating to when they can and cannot strike deals for early(ish) stage drugs such as these.
