Next leg up looks quite possible

. . . to see the share price recover and really start to motor from here. I’d love for the short-term, short-sighted gamblers and day traders to realise what they’ve thrown away — to look back years from now and truly rue what they missed or gave up for peanuts. That would honestly warm my heart.

The presentation yesterday, and everything that’s been coming out of the company lately, has been nothing short of remarkable. I don’t pretend to grasp every detail of the science, but it’s clear that everyone involved understands the scale of what’s coming. The impact this will have is profound — it’s only a matter of time now. This will change how this terrible disease is treated. Will it make a dent in cancer? Absolutely.

From an investment perspective, it could be tomorrow that something incredible starts to unfold… or it might be this time next year. But it will happen. Those who sold this morning because the CEO didn’t explicitly say a deal was “imminent” are a perfect example of what’s wrong with AIM — no patience, no conviction, and no understanding of the bigger picture.

Don't know if anyone really comes on here now, but it would appear that we actually have a new and functional website (which looks significantly better than the old one). Maybe the lights are on and someone is home after all?

Would a partial response have to be announced via RNS when it occurs, or can that information be reserved for the conference? I'm presuming the company can exercise judgement as to whether it's considered a material event, but would appreciate clarification.

I only have a modest amount here, purchased around a month ago, so I'm underwater. It's quite a boring share, but I do think the fundamentals are pretty strong. It's well run, makes money, pays a decent dividend, and maybe one to drip feed funds into over time, as I'm sure it will eventually do nicely. Definitely a hold at least.

Hear me out, but wouldn't it be something if for the next issue to cover the Heights payment, Hughes went to the investors and said it's actually in their interest to pay a premium for the equity. We've seen how the tide has turned since the last raise, but what a signal to the market it would be if they sold the equity at 10% above preceding closing price. Share price would rerate quickly as FOMO fully kicks in. Hopefully that kind of discussion or thought process is going on, it would be for everyone's benefit IMO.

Spicy - why after creating a thread called 'spicy's challenge', repeatedly goading the regular posters, then getting a logical answer from me, are you not responding to it? Is the answer too straightforward and you're incapable of finding an inflammatory angle from it to continue your nonsense?

Is it not the case that the company was way overvalued on hype around that time? Pretty straightforward answer - it's why I avoided buying back then, but kept it on my watch list.

It's been massively oversold, and now confidence is reappearing. Hopefully it does get back up to those levels, but if it does, then this time it will be due to fundamentals and not hype.

Agree with the point raised about 42/43p. It's been tested as support around 5 times in the last 18 months. Not to say it can't fail this time, but it's a very obvious buying level for the next leg up (hopefully). I've just bought more now, and feel as confident as I can by the chart set-up.

Trying to work out what irritates me more, the spicytuna drivel, or these rampy sound bite emoji posts.

Regardless of what you think about the fundamentals (I like them a lot), from a charting point of view if we can confirm higher highs (i.e., finishing above 38p from 30th May) and higher lows (18th June at 29.5p, compared to 23rd May at 27.5p) then you could very well argue that this has turned from bearish to bullish after a very long wait. Potential for a re-rate is clear, once people are confident that the bottom is in.

Well, the day has arrived - it seems like a fair offer.

To put another angle on the question, what would you as an investor be happy with? For me personally, anything above £40. I would have more than doubled my average at that point, after approx 18 months.

I don't pretend to understand the specifics of the takeover situation, but for PSUP to have been extended as it has and given the quality of the company, I cannot personally imagine an offer being presented to shareholders for less than £40.

Sounds good jeff. I am more of a causal observer, originally had this on my watch list a number of years ago, and only ever did a couple of short term trades when it was near its highs. Don't think I made any money, or lost any, thankfully.

Bought in tranches over the last few months after deciding that the relentless stream of good news must surely change the tide in the share price, and very happy to have been proven correct. Up around 70% now on average and looking forward to what the future holds here.
