I'm not sure how shorters can bankrupt the company. UKOG are selling oil, and that revenue is not affected by any change of the SP.

Seems fine to me, anything that bollockses swing traders algorithms has to be a good thing. Isn't it annoying when the long term progress of a share gets messed about with? Oh the irony. ROFL.

Who is reading it wrong? Pingo and the deramping crew? Looks like a steal to me, and a great RNS showing UKOG hold all the Aces at this point.

Why are they issuing more shares? Just 17m, there are probably a few LT on here with more than that. It's consistent with the previous acquisitions any way, it seems to be the way UKOG and it's partners want to do business. UKOG has the cash, they don't, they have to raise cash. Very shrewd business IMHO.

Shares issued at a premium, this is a) good to see and b) less likely to lead to Solo flipping them immediately. Doesn't mean it won't happen, but less likely to IMHO. Not a huge amount if they do.

There is a huge difference between ramping and being enthusiastic about a share with genuine potential. It's similar to the huge difference between and investor and a trader.

seadoc - connected, yes. The actual same thing; no. How permeable is the layer between the two? We don't know. It's entirely feasible that KL4 and KL3 could flow entirely different rates even though they are connected. It's entirely possible that the intermediate layer could be fracked and KL3 and KL4 turned into effectively one reservoir, but they are not that right now, and there is no plan to frack. There are so many variables at play that your straw in a pint of beer analogy is worthless.

Anyone who claims that KL4 flow rates are already known because KL3 rates are is talking nonsense, and for that reason the anticipated "well that was priced in already" once KL4 result are published sucks shit too. It will be rolled out anyway I'm sure.

Beware of the the classic deramper purporting to have some sort of intellectual or professional superiority, and spouting some half truths to establish some credibility. We have our fill of them here. Some have gone, possibly never to be seen again, as their half lies upon half lies have eventually been revealed to be utter BS. penguins - technically yes, but that was submitted at the end of September before KL3 results were known - and clearly before KL4 results are out. It could therefore only include the Portland, or it would be making it up. It's not clever to make things up. Obviously the timing of that application may have been judicious, not for me to say, but nothing in it was untrue at the time, and it obviously could not have included KL3 results.

That will be in the upcoming planning application, as per the RNS of 19 Oct:

"A planning application for Portland and Kimmeridge field development is nearing completion and is targeted for submission to Surrey County Council ("SCC") before year-end."

So yes, I believe otherwise.

pingu, the tankers per day figure was based on the expected output from the Portland only, which was all that was known at the time. You probably know that, but you do like to selectively mix and match facts don't you?
