That's called a spike. They are designed to suck PIs in to an inflated SP in the early days of an entirely plausible potential success story, then there is a rapid drop in the SP followed by a continued decline for weeks, months, years, until those who bought in on the rise give up all hope of a return on their investments and sell for a loss. Classic AIM. I wouldn't be expecting lightning to strike twice.
SP will rise as test results come in, and progress is made elsewhere on planning permissions, new wells, etc etc as UKOG progresses to become a good mid-cap oil producer. Keep it real and there will be less disappointment.
