I had a sell limit set at 111p , and was rubbing my hands this morning thinking there was a chunk of change sat in my account now and it could be reinvested as the SP fell back in the usual tree shake. It didn't get triggered despite the SP sailing past 111p earlier. What's the point of a sell limit if they don't process it?

AJM - very level headed. I'm holding for a top slice when it doubles for me, not much to go, it nearly hit that earlier. The rest I will ride as far as I can hold my nerve. I am conscious that twice now in the last 5 years my portfolio has bagged and got me within a whisper of clearing my mortgage, and twice I held on for that little bit more ... which never came. My portfolio is now less than 50% of where I started instead on 200%,. Hopefully I have learned and won't go there again.
