..One year share graph...
We are within about a month of the falling wedge hitting the explosion point (probably with a few little rises and falls first) ...so it’s going to be from around the 2p mark that this is going into Orbit or going for a serious fall in about a month..
Scaryone - but I would put money on the buys being “bargain hunter PIs” rather than insightful.
Why oh why do shareholders always have to find some benign reason for a big holder (or several) selling stock, like “ maybe he needs the cash, divorce, etc etc”
That’s just more rose-coloured spec blinkered thinking.
The pattern of this share has been DOWN - and continued to go lower.
Either speculators can see a lower entry point with news not for 2 months or people (with more Knowledge that. Scary, Jay, Aim etc etc) have a sniff that something isn’t right here.
The problem is that someone is dumping large amounts of stock, and only people like Jay et al on this board are picking up the pieces, thinking it’s a bargain.
It MAY be a bargain, but PIs know diddly squat as regards internal machinations, especially peeps who claim to be cosy with CEOs etc..
Been there done it..
The closer you are (or you THINK you are) the less you actually see.
want to be curious, and ask ; Why the hell is someone continuing to sell BIG time?
You can’t always put a positive confirmation bias on everything. Maybe it’s nothing, but sometimes in shares/ life, things just aren’t going great.
Why is there such a chronic selling direction with this stock? Aren’t people asking, if the prospects are so valuable, why are shares being dumped continually.
You could also call the “Market” the confidence in Market Capital of a company, inc NAV and prospects.
Whichever way you look at it, NFX is unloved.
As stated, results may send this into orbit, but I also have a suspicion that “the Market” knows the antecedents of Chinese deals only too well.
I’m amazed and impressed by your rather miraculous ability to sense “emotion” in my posting, HH..
There was no real emotion at all in them..none really.
Just a statement of the obvious. The Market are not convinced by this - the market is an entity that plays on emotions and future prospects, and MMs have the power to push either way.
And Company execs always end up alright whatever.
A simple statement of reality.
thanks for the post.
Management are never hit hardest mate. It's the oldest and surest rule of investment that as much as investors like to feel alignment with management, it's rarely the case.
if trials are unsuccessful, management will still continue to get their salaries, the entire thing will roll on, there'll be dilution, but peeps in the co will still get their pay .
Yes, sure they'll miss out on uplift of share price , but management in these firms never end up deprived.
..for the new Aberdenman's next rampathon at 2p!
and some poor lad the other day asked "why do I think the Market doesn't like the Chinese deal?!"...
errrr!
Market Cap under £10M, no upward momentum.
So you have eyes!??
the Market HATES this share at the moment.
It will live or die on the bio-equivalence results.
Cheer up Happy! All in the best possible taste..
;o)
I don’t know why you can’t wait for me to sell my shares (I won’t be selling ALL of them)...as I’ll still be posting even if I don’t hold any ...even though that’s against herdy rules!
Maybe this will go ballistic at some point but the experience up to now is that the Market does not like the Chinese deal, as , that with little liquidity, locks us into a box..
Whether we escape that box remains to be seen
another great day on the good ship NFX ..
all the "investors" from the 2p bottom have now gone..
tumbleweed and the new Aberdeenman (Research Analyst) remain.
Any lifeboats left Capt?
I don't think that our Chinese-affiliated low liquidity strategy has exactly floated the market's imagination.
Similarities with Aberdeenman...maybe..
but anyway, as far as the Chinese are concerned (from 20+years of investing - including seeing them take great swathes of Africa) is that they are great at seeing value - and also great at snuffing out value for others.
So...will they let NFX realise its full potential before taking it for themselves?
I’d just ignore them..
The trait of shareholders over the last decade has changed with the general demographic shift - ie, no challenge, limited outlook, suspicion of ‘outsiders’, childish tribal allegiances and shutdown of free speech,
Loads of posters on boards want to nanny and control. People are scared of opposing views, or any views that don’t correlate with theirs.
It’s a ridiculaous assertion to have a precept of owning shares to post on a board.
All views welcome. And opposing views more welcome than most in my opinion.
Was it a P&D ?
Not particularly IMO, but orchestrated in a fashion?...maybe in a way that “hit” the obvious bottom, which triggers buy alerts. Even I bought a few on Friday knowing it was the bottom (statistically and technically).
So all it takes is a few people who can see obvious traits in shares, and you have an “orchestrated” buying spree..but not necessarily a P&D...just an obvious market trend and people spotting a bottom.
There may have been a couple of technical automated triggers too - then there’s the usual crew arriving pumping it a bit..and day trading.
So...to me it was an obvious event - and if it’s obvious to me , then it will be to dozens of other folk.
Ref “Time not our side”...are you alluding to the possibility we will be taken out cheaply (by Chinese, other Pharma?) or are you referencing other companies possibly overtaking us...? Or neither the above?
Cheers
Thanks for your time taken to post today..appreciated, with follow up posts.
Please expand on “time is not on our side”...thanks
And, only those foolish enough to believe in heaven want to go to it and, personally, I’ll take death over decay
Although believing in heaven does keep oneself happy, unlike my moribund outlook..
;o)
Jiving...yep..
Regardless of future prospects here, this share has had it’s major ramp-team moments, formerly of the Aberdeenman type, but also when it gets down to 2p - which is a buy signal in itself - then there’s some attendant unashamed 40p, £1 rubbish to push it up..
A nice quick easy 30% for the traders..It is actually very predictable this share in many ways, if you can be bothered trying to trade it..
But most of us are hoping for a bit more than 30%...we shall see
