The only people to have changed the shareprice in recent months are
1) Research Analysts ramping team - upwards and
2) Spreadex and warrants downwards,

Everything, other than that is total white noise.

So Research Analyst, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessseeee come back and ramp us up to 3p short term because I want to sell a few!!

I’ve predicted a few bounces up to now - off 2p - but, as news isn’t until June apparently, where do you see this going in the meantime? 20p maybe?! Right.

and if the research note had been real, I would have been posting to high heaven on here about it being true.

When you buy a product - any product - don;t you want the description of the product to be accurate? Don;t you base your purchase on information being true?
If you bought a car, and a review said it did 60mpg when it was actually 30mpg, wouldn;t you be bothered? Wouldn;’t that p8ss you off?
Why wouldn;’t you want someone to tell you that the review was false??

Apparently, many people these days would rather have a rosy false product description, because it soothes their fragile needs.

Oh hum, but for what it’s worth - AGAIN - you should play the ball, not the man- and just take the info, musings and opinions on my posts as jus that. I’ve never tried to pull the share price down or pump it up, Ive always said this has great potential, and , last year ., predicted wed be at about 4 - 6p by Spring - we aren’t, but maybe could be.

Over the years I’ve had loads of shares, usually varying between ZERO and about THREE. In 2010 and earlier I traded dozens (100s maybe) of stock, but the effort wasn;’t worth the outcome.

In recent years - last year - I’ve held Petro Matad, Union Jack Oil, the year before that Edgon Resources, Oxima (to become N4 Pharma) - all there for all to see...as Jay knows) Probably has a few other dabbles.

I rarely hold more than a handful and sometimes none. I’ve reduced down to NFX as an investment as this is what I’ve always done - like a canny poster on iii of yesteryear “2Shares” - he always reduced to 2. I cant be bothered with many small caps.

To me , this is an investment - but I can challenge my own investment and like doing so - that’s how you learn - by hearing other retorts and views - but I’m also on here because of behaviour of posters - which fascinates me (and saddens me too -

I called out a lot of BS on Oxus Gold 2014/2015 ..That was pretty much my only share back then..
95% of posters chasing the rainbow , most got burned by believing their own confirmation bias. I got slaughtered for contrarian views (which ended up being right). I made quite a bit but blew some on a punt , Strat Aero.

You wrongly stated that I said I’d “made a fortune” out of shares, and that puzzles you. I’ve actually made enough out of “investments” , Not shares. You make many false assumptions. “Investments “ being things OTHER than shares.

Shares have added to income over the years, but I’m interested only to a limited degree - and that degree at the moment is one share - THIS one. Sometime over the next year, if this fails, I’ll retreat burned and not touch shares again for some time. If it comes good, I’ll probably still pull most out, leave some LT and have a dabble on something else.

Nfx Dan Gooding also looking into co-ordinated share "attacks" by ramping teams, although doubt he could do anything.
It does the company no good - and does Finncap's reputation no good either.
And does PIs no good when trying to evaluate risks/ rewards.

just one last point about the fake research note posted by ResearchAnalyst (Aberdeenman?)

After reporting to NFX, FCA and Finncap, Finncap Head of Corporate, Stuart Andrews sent me this quote yesterday for posting on public forums:

"We have not made any comment on it (nfx). One thing you could say is that rather than believe the board on what finnCap is saying all of our research is free to all through our website."

Happy for anyone to check this with Finncap. Just one call or e-mail away.

I was only specifically interested in my question about the last RNS..(just a microcosm of how your brain works - as I'm interested in phenomenology, existential thinking, cognitive dissonance etc etc)

That question comes from a place of total respect, Jay, and in no way belittling or negative - but more with a need or curiosity to understand your thinking ( and maybe others) in what goes on in your process when ‘believing’ a share price will go up (when previous similar patterns have not resulted in that)

Serious question for you asked in a non-aggressive way..

I am finding it disconcerting that posters aren’t;t reading basic info, are prone to believing ramping confirmation bias stuff, and that past patterns aren’t learned from.

You seem to be quite an experienced investor, but surely , from past share behaviour, you’ve picked up that news that kicks the can down the road and doesn’t say anything new, results in a sell-off (or at least no rise)

I’m wondering, in a serious yet friendly way, what you see when you read an RNS like that, and wonder why past experience doesn’t guide the market reaction for you?
