N4P got a big setback today - lost 50%+ on a bad RNS..

that's early pharma for you, and the reason NO-ONE can state such folly as "20p by 3 months" - ESPECIALLY with ZERO back-up knowledge.

So, we are on a different track to them - but that's all it takes - trials not hitting the spot.. One poor RNS and it all goes t*ts up..

My advice to investors here - particularly if inexperienced, - is, buy if you've read the literature and potential, but always remember this is a binary business, so don't put everything in early pharma. Don't listen to posters who call numbers but don't explain why, or how.
Anyone can make numerical predictions - even monkeys.

By the way Jay - if you still believe in N4P, might be achance for you to get in..
I'm assessing my position there and wondering what to do...won't be buying more though

It;'s easy to dream of share price glory, that's what most "investors " do, but, when thought about, harder to achieve - especially with our best product way off.

Maybe there'll be some surprises next few monts - but surprises that garnish an extra £70Million - ? hmmm

Scaryone - I respect your enthusiasm for this, and 20p by September would be a dream, but let's get back to reality.

One of things I've experienced and become aware of with share dealing over 20 years or so, is that companies and punters who talk in terms of share price eg, this will be 6p, 10p, 20p, are usually ones looking at hype rather than factual analysis of realistic Market Cap..

I was invested in a fledgling aero company many moons ago and the company CEO always talked in terms of "this will be a £1 share"....etc...needless to say the 6p share became a sub-1p share !! He loved the hypebole, but factually he was dreaming.

The Market doesn't like share price hype - it likes hard cold facts of Market Caps and potential Market Caps, so when people talk in terms of "20p in 3 months" it misses out a massive part of the chain that could get us there -

So £13M to £80M in 3 months...how?

what would that mean? It would mean a) Hugely positive Sentiment,
b) Maybe another pipeline of potentially blockbuster drugs - but where has simple potential got us now ?! (£13Million)
c) A major investment...and I mean MAJOR (as in tens of millions) - and who would do that at this stage? No big pharma in their right mind would take us out at 6X market cap at the mo, until trials are further evidenced.

Now, the other Pharma company N4P are currently residing at a Market Cap of £21M, with a potentially bigger mass market blockbuster than we've got - and it's a public buzzword product...so again, where does £80M Market Cap come from?

Ours are not "sexy" but co-crystals do have potential...but that potential still has to be unlocked and proven in human trials.

Maybe we could become a 20p company next year if all trials go well - and we have sentiment backed by a Co-Crytal that maybe offers a bigger and sexier name than Puminory Fibrosis. I'd like to see potential revenue stream figures from this, circa 130,000 sufferes in US, 30,000 in Britain...what % of that market would we get? 5%, 10%, 50%? who knows.

So, 20p by End of September?? NOT A CHANCE.
Remember those words, come back in September and let's see who was right...the rampers, or the realist.

IH - In some ways I wished you hadn't responded to my post - because it will just allow Aim4 to carry on the chorus of "here they are again - in cahoots, turning up together etc etc"

So, I do appreciate your post and agree with most of the comments - I'm also concerned that NFX is a very leaky ship to Aberdeenman and RNS's data and speculation are being out in the public domain - albeit inaccurately.
Bow Aberdeenman says news is delayed, not 6p by this week - oh yes, the pattern is well noted! Ramp, buy, no news, Sell, Ramp, buy, no news, Sell, Ramp Buy, etc etc

Someone is making a hell of a lot of money out of us suckers. and it ain't me!

Well, fair enough for continuing to throw a daily dollop of positivity to events, even though it does involve the usual bedtwins of distortion and conflation.

China? "Taking over"...you say? Well me being an old fogie (a wise old fogie?! ha ;o) I:ve seen the hand of China on many shares - many miners in Africa, where there input has been less than favourable long-term.
The Chinese tend to get what they can and screw down as much as possible.

That's why I eagerly await our first 500K payment to see the credence in their words..
It's interesting that you mention the Chinese takeover talks as positive - but it's worth looking at any deal from a value/market Cap perspective.
Is the 25% share price boost that amazing - but I don't know the answer to thin until I look at that potential deal, behind the headlines.

It's interesting to me that any downward movement in our share price is deflected by assertions like "Oh it's ok, they're just odd numbers, no-one big is selling as they'd be rounded", when any upward movement with similar share buys is jumped on as being fantastic.

The other statements made by some on here alluding to, and predicting, share prices of 20p in just 3 short months, also have to be scrutinized properly.
With a present Market Cap circa 13Million, and already stated by NFX themselves that NF002 is a way off, how can you honestly predict a Market Cap going from £13M to Circa £80Mill in 3 months?

...and remember Aim4Utopia...have a go at the content, and stay away from judging my motives from your perspective.

Today's events - This is what happens when you over-egg the pudding...ie, create an expectation way beyond market reality.
There's been talk of 5p by the end of today, 6p by the end of the week - those people haven't much idea about shares or the market machinations, emotional investing etc.

Try to look at this through the eyes of a neutral (and not the converted tribal view)..

The RNS was positive - things are moving on, but there's still no concrete evidence of revenue streams and human trials are going to take several months.
The potential near-term numbers on the table of £500K and £2Million are not figures to boost the share price radically ; the market Cap is £14Mill at the moment, so do the maths.

The recent rise has been driven by expectation and ramping, and I wish those with chronic hyperbole would take a step back and try to see the world through less biased eyes. Too many excited people, not enough rational calm folk around - and Mr Market is very calm.

If I'd been closely monitoring this (I haven';t today, I'd have probs sold a few on that RNS at 4.2p, as other people always sell off when timescales look long.

Nothing really has changed with NFX...it all seems to be going well. I'm a tad nervous about the Chinese and we'll see if they play fair on the 500K payment. If they do, I'll be a lot happier, if they procrastinate and prevaricate, I'll definitely be selling up as I've been aboard that particular ship before..

So, all in all, a fairly good RNS , not one to live up to the rampers' Hype, but not bad...
I think it'll drift a bit but without bad news, don't t
hink it'l get too far into the 2s...although more news like todays and the last one will not kep the share price going north...Aberdeenman et al are very naive.

Aim$Utopia, well, thanks for almost a 'non-digging post, .Just checking to see why your posts weren't more prolific. and you fairly answered. but can't shy away from phrases like being "proved right" etc etc. Still the old ego.

I think Chris Blackwell will have been brought in to add kudos to the brand, to guide in monetizing terms and also to open a few doors with Pharma contacts..so maybe he's had a hand in this, but it's a pot boiler rather than big news.
