I wonder why, given that what I posted is a fact. One can only assume it hit a raw nerve with someone!

That whatever the government planning officer recommends there will likely be another appeal, this time to the Secretary of State. In normal times this would take perhaps more than a year for a final decision to be made. How ever we are not in normal times as a General Election has to be called at some time next year 2024. The incumbent government will not make what is a political decision before then for obvious reasons. For the same political reason I cannot see the planning application currently before the planning officer being resolved before the local council elections in May this year.
So unfortunately for Heid I cannot see her wish coming true in the near future.

Regarding West Newton the only question will most likely be, will the percentage of the ownership at the present time belonging to UJO stay the same or increase.

Many will be disappointed when they see most of the revenue now and in the future being generated spent on a;white elephant' project known as West Newton. Rathlin the operators are probably already knocking at Uncle Dave's door with the begging bowl.
For without substantial funding West Newton's gates will stay padlocked.

last Friday now looks like a major selling out or an aggregated sell. Otherwise, the price would have risen far more than it has this morning.

This seemingly unusually large order could be a buy or sell; This to not upset the share price and keep volatility to a minimum. A number of smaller trades amalgamated to provide one LRGS order. Large in Scale deferred and delayed by possibly days or even weeks before publication.

FYI I have traded this dog years ago and got out @ around 1p with a 100% profit.
Later I bought again with thankfully a substantially reduced stake @ 0.4p. Since that time everyone can see in which direction the s.p has travelled. Fortunately, unlike poor old deemule who must be between £50 and £100K down by my reckoning (he has posted all his buys over many years) I resisted the temptation to buy anywhere near that amount.
Now, and with the benefit of seeing how these city slickers operate since my last poor judgement call at 0.4p, I feel for those who are in deep. In my opinion West Newton has to be a Commercial success otherwise its 'curtains' for RBD.
Their past record on Wick, Colter, California and Parta coupled with a seemingly total abjection of the need to update investors leaves many with much to be regretful of.
In my opinion this is now a punt, nothing more nothing less.

I think Uggy has portrayed the 2 directors as they possibly see themselves. That is characters whose only aim (no pun intended) is to furnish their own lavish lifestyles.
One matter that will concern them greatly is when, not if, major investors start to sell. If a further voting session comes to pass it may well show the level of dis-satisfaction with those at the helm of this drifting ship. The question many are asking is how long before it hits the proverbial rocks?

in a way is that the bought back into Treasury shares will actually be used towards Rathlin's further funding of West Newton.
I expect that there will be an announcement by both UJO and RBD within a few days of each other.
Both announcements will take place over the next few weeks and months
Whether the 16% share of West Newton will be maintained, remains with a decision the BOD of UJO may have already been decided.

RBD's joint partner of Danube Petroleum in the Romanian debacle is the company ADX of Australia. They seem to be too embarrassed to even mention it these days. They are now concentrating instead on a joint partnership with Siemens of Germany to develop Geothermal energy resources in Romania.
