It seems that most appeals that have not reached the Secretary of States desk by now after all earlier ones have been exhausted will not now be settled before the next General election due 2024.

These issues are a political 'hot potato' at the best of times, and contentious enough to be delayed until after the General Election. Then a POLITICAL decision will be made at the highest level (not with a local planning inspector).

Moniman, you are correct. The asteroid strike which was believed to be due before the end of the year, is now aligning with news of substance from the West Newton drill, now due in 2025.

Jack, it would not surprise me in the least if Chelverton were unloading in the background.

In fact I have a good reason to believe they are.

Moniman....I don't think I have ever made public my holdings, even when I made over 100% profit in my first tranche with RBD many years ago, before matters in my eyes took a turn for the worse.

Some of the digging I did about them with Reabold California, and the characters involved and their backgrounds would make your hair stand on end, believe me. That's when I decided to keep abreast of the multitude of limited companies (some set up on tax free havens) and without a great deal of shareholders oversight available, and to share it with everyone. Of course many decried what I was exposing and 'green coffined' me. I have no problem with that, if they want to pretend that all is well then that's ok with me.

Although many will be in 4.84% (buy corner) I would not be too sure about that.

Perhaps an in depth read of the appropriate DTR documentation clauses may make one aware of the complexity of same, and not jump to hasty conclusions. The devil may be in the detail, or in this case lack of it.

J D, Why would Shell risk their shareholders money on speculating on very high risk fields when they have idiots like the dynamic duo doing all the spade work for them. Better for Shell to take no risks, and then if a bit of 'luck' is achieved on a drill like Victory offer a low ball price knowing it will immediately be gobbled up by the two fools.

For Shell it's a Win Win !!

Uggy...I believe that the dynamic duo are trying to distract shareholders away from West Newton by all their diversionary tactics via their involvement in other ventures. They know that W.N is a very low case scenario regarding success.

Jack, the major players have known all about West Newton for ions now. If it was of interest to them they would have been all over it like a rash. If it was better than a 50-50 chance of Commerciality too much time has elapsed for them to be really interested even given the longer they wait the better the bargaining position. A 'Fire Sale', could be but highly improbable. After all the shareholders like those in Shell are far too business savvy to throw money away speculating on 'lame duck' ventures like Reabold Resources.
