I wonder how the strategic review is coming along. Surely if it's so compelling there will be not a problem of offers coming, will there?
Or will it end with Corallian minority shareholders being offered shares in RBD on a 'fait accompli' basis rather than a cash per share sale?

Uggy....I think both RNS's will be out before the New Year. Probably just before the break as it won't be riveting news, and people will hopefully forget about it over the festive period. Always playing for time and delaying until the last moment.

That infamous Investment *ank fined over $5M dollars for its part in the Mortgage securities scandal in the U.S that which spread to the U.K costings us the equivalent of thousands of pounds each. They should have had their licence withdrawn for good; all that saved them was that many well known politicians had their noses in the same trough.

Nothing can be added for West Newton as it could be a big fat Zero, enterprise...don't make me laugh, and the intangible 'asset' goodwill, useless as a chocolate fireguard until and unless the company is to be sold, then subject to agreement with HMRC. Altogether adds up to a 'row of beans' as the saying goes.

Jb...I gave up on this a good while ago. Thankfully I'm not up to my neck like some are. Others who may be dragged into it need warning of the likely outcome.

West Newton as expected. Back burner, more delay and obfuscation before heading off into the hill just the same as Colter and Parta. My guess is the next news will be February/March time along with an RNS about the tie-in with the next transformational play in California.

But yes, there is plenty going on behind the scenes. My favourite company for growth in the short to medium term.

Victory was always for me a backstop, and a smoke screen for if/when West Newton fails to produce the goods.
West Newton may yet produce, and the reduced number of wells and associated 'gifts of myrrh' will leave the dissenting councillors out in the cold the next time around, with probable appeals from the greenies to follow.
That said, in my opinion both are still a long shot. The Victory play is under the sea with all the associated problems that has to be overcome, and West Newton may prove even more difficult to extract. Commercialisation has only a 20/80% COS at best with me as regards both assets. 2024/5 at the absolute earliest regarding any financial return on extraction for either, with West Newton the earlier if it can be sold.
In the meantime I believe the dynamic duo look for another potential transformative play, perhaps even one that may involve greener energy.
Whatever, that will mean another trip to tap up the market. But this time it may well be not so easy to raise funds.
OMO and remember time is running short for the dynamic duo as the last raise must have all but been spent.

NVG...For once you are correct, however my holding here is only a small percentage of my portfolio. I may dabble in what is colloquially known as high risk volatile oil and gas companies, but that is the totality of it. I usually do not post comments on larger companies as very few people need warning of Rampers, for the simple reason they do not exist on those sites.

Harry, I believe there will be at least one if not more RNS's before the New Year. OMO but they would possibly see this as good a time as ever to place a flowered up offering or two into the public domain whilst people have their minds on other matters.
It's an approach favoured by political parties when the time suits.
