To be fair, and I'm not in a mood to cut AP/RoyTucker et al much slack at all these days, but IIRC we voted against them having authority/headroom to issue shares at an EGM last year. So they are merely coming back to us shaking the tin. Which is fine so long as there's a valid reason to. Otherwise I'm not minded to vote for anything which merely facilitates the perpetuation of Roy Tucker's snout in the trough.

Birdy's not Vast, spec (he IS involved in lots of other horror stories though!). The timing of today's latest Vast shenanigans is indeed sh*te though. I'm surprised and disappointed that Brian Moritz (chairman) would let the CEO (Andrew Prelea) get away with it. But we've seen worse at vast and the share price is 'only' down 10% i was expecting worse! NCCL - nice - but I'm a holder so share price hardly moves.... double typical. Back to the pool for me then! (Still no Babbler...?)

Buko I think it has a lot to do with 'being seen to do the right thing' in Zim. You want a diamond licence or 2? Better be seen to be investing not taking mkney out I'd have thought. Also I'm not sure how it works exactly but I believe there's some strange situation with dollars left in bank accounts being rated at a premium by the system to the tune of something like 30-40%. I do agree with LeeMorris on most of the other stuff but can't deny the timing and presentation (and breaking of promise) appears sh*te.

I wouldn't bash yourself too much on EQT Babbs - the thing was a disgrace from start to finish and that BoD don't deserve good folk like us as shareholders. Keep the faith with FARN - we know it's binary but if it goes right it will more than offset any missed EQT recovery IMHO. Then again knowing our luck it'll tank too and we'll be double hurt!

BFFM I'm a ZIOC lth - rather longer 'long term' than I expected tbh - but it's another bleedin' 'BoBoLand' (am I allowed to call it that) jam tomorrow share - but you're right, it's due news which could easily set it roaring. Totally agree Spec. This is one of the few sane places around these parts imho and I value the points and discussion here - especially Babbler's fantastic input very much even if I don't participate as much as some. I apologise if i appeared harsh i certainly didn't mean to!

Just to be clear! My rant regarding spivs and (in this instance) eqt wasn't directed ar Babbs. He and I nevertheless do have form in, shall we say, 'contrarian investment' lol.
