Back from exile! Is my old mate Fantasy back too? Still wanting shot of AP...?
Great RNS - another step in the right and very exciting direction.
Fair enough MM don't disagree with any of that. My average in-price was 14-15p so know what you mean - I broke all my own rules investing here as it's a sector I know little about, just liked the concept. You know about the rule of thumb statistic that 90% of shares which fall 90% go bust... I really doubt that it applies here though.
The way you're talking it sounds like you're the one wanting it to go to zero Myrtle... agenda perhaps...?
They raised £7m in July so unless it's for something special I doubt it Neils?
Also, don't forget (as I just did, am a bit rusty on this one despite being a long-suffering LTH!) that they raised £7m in July (ie post-half year end) in which the directors participated, and both BA and Shell have committed to co-funding arrangements.
Ramp over lol.
I don't think anyone would dispute that it's been a mess of late, and cash was indeed short, plus as you say the seller has pushed the price down to a level where it's virtually priced to fail. However the £500k nonrefund deposit makes for a good start, and with partners like BA, Shell and now Toyo showing good support it's hard to imagine this not now prevailing?
2p I'm liking your tealeaves and agree with them!
Fantasy I'm quite happy to keep quiet if you do too. As Lee says, let's let the RNS's do the talking - hopefully in the next few days - one way or the other. Hopefully my way and not yours of course, but then if I agreed with you we'd both be wrong wouldn't we!
Meanwhile if anyone wants to compare research - especially on Marange and diamond mining, on which a few of us have done a fair bit, or Vast in general, I'm always happy to chat and easy to find, the kettle's usually on!
Lee I don't know what he thinks he's trying to achieve either apart from total destruction of what's left of our investments and company right at a time when things might, just might, be about to turn around. Given the amount of time and effort he expends on the endless and dangerously clueless trolling I actually thought it might recede when the schools went back! (but it hasn't) he either has an agenda (very likely it seems), socio-medical issues (hopefully not for his sake) or he's playing truant. ah! perhaps that's it after all?!
FTB I'm in the same boat as you (and Cast) with Vast but I do agree with Cast that the upside potential there is huge too, and hopefully BOD will tag along with that to add involvement in Marange to its own good projects. I'm not sure which I'd bet on getting to 2p first - I don't care if it's not by christmas, but if you do your research and listen to James you'll 'get' it. Next year will do me fine lol.
Likewise - message reported. Cretinous and damaging behaviour by infantile trolls needs to be stopped.
Not in my name pal.
Cast - I know from bitter personal experience - a load of mine are stuck there too lol. Quite happy to hang on to them though.
Fantasy. What do you mean no news=no progress? How do you know that? You don't, you clueless troll!
Hey TBTT yes agree - I'm pretty sure too, done quite a bit of background on it and my initial enthusiasm for this has escalated exponentially. Most of the rest of the world hasn't noticed yet (less still has much clue), which is fine by me, it will all come out in the wash (so to speak!).
Just a reminder on Marsfontein - that was a mine where capex payback was 4 days (!) and went on to produce nearly 2m cts from under 1m tonnes in 4 years from an area about the size of your front lawn. They didn't care much about the gravels at the time (for obvious reasons!) so they are almost certainly loaded.
Environmental permit granted at Marsfontein - another excellent step in the right direction. Anyone who doesn't know the history of Marsfontein would do well to take a look!
V111 you spend an awful lot of time pontificating and slandering something which you say you believe to be a 'lost cause'. What's your agenda here?
Angus might you be mixing 'profit' with 'cashflow'? Once production starts there are all sorts of ways to leverage off the goods even if build-up means you're still (temporarily) in a loss making situation. I can't comment re the rain from China/US spats stopping play but ultimately financiers have to do deals to make their money too, and there are all sorts of ways of mitigating fluctuating metals prices. I'm not being abrasive or confrontational here by the way, just trying to think your comment through.
Dodge you say you see this as purely a red/black wager where even by your own admission you think you could double your money. Surely even a novice gambler would seek to enhance his/her odds as best they can to achieve that, on which basis in your case you'd do well to help talk UP the situation, not down? So why the constant deramp? Your argument doesn't add up. Either you're a bad investor AND a bad gambler! OR, more likely, just talking ****e!
