GreenRoc Accelerates their World Class Project to Production as Early as 2028. Watch the full video here.
I took some in the placing. Bought some more yesterday. Some more again today. And I plan to buy some more tomorrow. Whatever the negative background noise re AP the huge reality of the assets will out - and soon now. Just my view...
Not sure where you get the 'additional funds will probably be needed' in the latest results rns - they did not say that - they actually said that COVID brings uncertainty but they were well placed because operations and finances are flexible - and overheads are in any case minimal, bulk sampling at M8 is being done/paid for by the contractor etc etc likewise the sifting of gravels at M1. In one of his podcasts I think James C stated that existing drilling project cashflow requirements are covered (don't know if that includes the Sunland proposed drill later this year to be fair, perhaps not).
In any case, even if they did decide to place for, say, Sunland, the amounts likely to be needed/raised are likely to be rather small (like last time), and in context the prospect of good RNS or 2 gives far more upside potential short term IMO.
JSCapper - that's right though I believe (?) the latest social media images are from material removed from the newly found pipe/dyke at M8 which is currently being bulk-sampled, and forms an extension of the original (M1) pipe - which was of course historically huge. The old stockpiles at M1 are a separate project currently being sifted by a contractor (and no longer subject to lockdown restrictions as he is local, I gather).
Humpalumps - Yes that was just confirm of presence of diamondiferous material. They are now working on bulk sampling from the kimberlites found, and we will hopefully hear very soon 'how many are there' and 'what quality' and 'what they are likely to be worth' (basically!).
Echo - agree - you aren’t ramping its’s true that the images being posted look extremely promising and it seems fair to assume that they’re more than a nod and a wink. This won’t need rampers and I sincerely hope it stays off the radars of the Twitter spivs at least until they can announce something.

Looking very promising.
I should have added ‘emerging economies’ list, obvs!
Venezuela bottom. All goes to show that expedient management of an economy and resource is key.
Interesting to see @TheEconomist Financial Strength list. Mineral-rich Botswana ranked first.
Nice and upbeat highlighting lots of potential for positive news in short order once lockdown lifts.
Well worth a listen also for those asking for research pointers the other day.
Hear hear!
Only 2p though? Bah! Pint half empty fella!
Thanks Castaway
Here’s an interesting presentation posted by JC on Marsfontein (M1 first time around) which gives an idea of just how (and why) it was so insanely amd quickly profitable.

Welcome CDF.
I’m a long-standing holder here and concur with everything Echo and Castaway (both also long-standing holders here) have said to you. I would urge you to also look at the history of not just Marsfontein but also the Botswanan situation (especially Maibwe) and look at how BOD has positioned itself In respect of these. I urge you to have a look at some of the articles and papers which have been posted by James Campbell and others on these subjects. Happy to provide links if helpful. James is world-class (maybe even world best) at what he does, and has surrounded himself with other world-class sector operators many of whom have agreed to work with him for non-cash rewards/profit share (and even pro bono in some cases). Which says a great deal about him, the company and its prospects. That said, it’s minerals exploration/development and it’s Africa so be aware it does carry risk.
Yes and also his thoughts (CV notwithstanding) on how long till we get an idea of the results of the bulk sampling - and what are the next steps assuming the sampling is positive. Thanks!
Hear hear AlexE thank you for putting some perspective back. I’ve been a reasonable-size holder here a long time now and feel that this is one of those rare companies which seems to fulfil promises Especially somce HP took charge. I won’t repeat your points which are all very valid. Lots to look forward to in coming months.
Echo: yes and no - if Mars comes good it’s worth multiples of today’s share price, but even if it doesn’t there are plenty more projects to go at and with the no-debt, virtually no-overhead situation it’s in a good position to move on to them.
But meanwhile let’s hope we get a Bounty from Mars (see what I did there, Cast?).
Cast: You ramper you! And a master of very dubious pun!
You’re right though...
Podsie: the RNS was just historical numbers and repetition of what’s already been said. Confirms that overheads are basically de minimis, repeats that Marsfontein is the main project for the moment with on-going work with Subterrane’s pioneering tech at Thorny River.
The photos on Twitter in the last few days are much more interesting - not least the presence of Prof Tappe from Jo’burg University - now there’s a man who knows his Kimberlites!
Interesting comment also re Maibwe - seems to be moving along albeit slowly, it could be massive too.
Echo: Depends on how far along the timeline they are, based on being at the second drill/bulk sample stage they are a good way towards knowing pretry well what’s there.
Useful background info 'podcast' on where they are up to and why and what happens next:

Mymine: They had a small placing earlier this year to cover the drilling programme and this year's overheads (which are in any case minimal, eg they have only one employee - the CEO - and seem to do a good job of getting contractors to work for future profit share to mitigate risk. There is no debt to speak of.
