I always thought Weichai would make a play personally. As it makes more sense economically for them.

Just to add i definitely don’t want to see ceres go to a foreign company, as i think it would destroy its brand.

It’s odd nearly all Ceres sector is winning multiple contracts, and Ceres usually announces June to end of August most new contracts.

I overheard a conversation the other day in a very noisy place I frequently use, but I only heard the end of the chat between 3 city folk, one was American, but I heard Ceres power.

I wonder if the silence on new contracts from CWR is because they’ve had an approach from a US company inside the industry?

Most successful traders have a balanced book of long/short on an equity, especially on volatile stocks such as Deb/Boo. Plus any ai program worth its subscription will move the book constantly.

The other thing is take note when an insider buys large trunks of stock, but remember that stock is not necessarily going to remain in the buyers name for long.

City are not concerned about success or for that matter failure! They are only focused on their bonus!

And there’s nothing wrong with that, good on them.

They are not analysts, they are opportunists and love a good play with large volumes of stock that can move a share price-either way.

Although they do hold all types of risk on their books.

Debenhams I know is on their radar, because the grey suits are beginning to pay attention to the spin offs in the firm. M&A is left to the dinners in Barclay square/Mount st, but there’s a lot to be earned on the share price movements.

Forget loyalty to stocks, it’s non existent in the brokerage houses.

There’s a few options possible, and they have time to get the best deal.

Wipe out debt and have room on the balance sheet, also move into investment grade.
