For me, it's the ESG that is holding the Boohoo share price back and will do for some time to come.

With any RNS, it's so important to read them in full.

The same applies to all RNS' for notifications of holdings. By reading them in full, from top to bottom, you'll get some idea about what's going on.

Never assume you know what's going on. Always do the work to find out as much as you can. Read everything in full, then you'll get some idea about what's really going on.

RazorsEdge - I think you're reading too much into things that aren't there. Imagination is always worse than reality. For me, it's always best to try to keep imagination in check.

Regarding Morgan Stanley's RNS'.

My reading into them is that they're lending out shares for shorting, hence why their holdings keep changing. I could be wrong. Maybe there are others on here who can provide more insight into all the RNS on notifications of holdings from Morgan Stanley.

Sadly, on this board you can come across the best of people and the worst of people. Some are willing to learn, some think they know everything already.

Fortunately, for me, I love learning, even about technical analysis. The best person I've found on here to learn from on technical analysis is mcklondon. His understanding and explanations, for me, are excellent. I've learnt loads from him. I'm no technical analysis expert. I'm always open to learning and more importantly I'm prepared to learn.

RazorsEdge - Boohoo is undervalued because it didn't do its due diligence with its supply chain.

Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane focussed on growing Boohoo Group and put too little attention on the supply chain. So confidence has been dented hugely in Boohoo shares. This will take time to come back. They have to show they are focussing on the supply chain by getting rid of bad suppliers, publishing their list of suppliers in the UK and abroad too, making sure their buyers understand how much a garment costs to manufacture and what is a fair price to suppliers for the manufacturing of garments. This is all going to take time.

The Institutional funds will also take time to become confident to buy Boohoo shares.

Patience and time is needed here.

moose2010 - Boohoo share price may go down to 300p, however, we know if it does go down to 300p, then it will reverse and the share price will go up. The catalyst may well be what Boohoo have managed to buy from the Arcadia Group. We won't know the outcome of this until the end of January.

RazorsEdge - absolutely, I agree with you. I believe this is because of the ESG concerns. Until this is sorted or nearly sorted then institutional funds won't buy Boohoo. Once the institutional funds start buying again then there'll be a huge rerating of the Boohoo share. This will take time and maybe won't happen until the end of 2021.

I don't think Boohoo Group will be taken private. Mahmud Kamani wants to prove Boohoo Group is ESG conscious and he'll be doing his best to get this right. This is what matters to him and the success of the Boohoo Group.

I prefer to read comments on here that are educational to all of us and not insults to others.

If you can't say something nice about someone, then don't say anything at all. It's too easy to criticise. It's much harder to praise others. It's well worth learning how to praise people. It makes you a nicer person.

Moose2010 - as Marfthew has already stated below, the lowest the Boohoo share price can go to is 300p or 315p depending before the reversal upwards.

Providing of course the Boohoo share price doesn't break through the lower trendline share price of 300p or 315p, then the Boohoo share price will go upwards. Patience is needed here.

Boohoo's share price is on the way down to the lower trendline as per a playbook example of the symmetrical triangle consolidation. It’s unlikely you’re gonna see a reversal of the Boohoo share price without a big catalyst.

Just accept the fact that the Boohoo share price is gonna bounce of the lower trendline, this is what a symmetrical triangle pattern is.

Boohoo's share price is being played by the market right now.

All you need to watch is if Boohoo's share price breaks the lower trendline, that’s the only thing you should be focusing on.

As long as Boohoo's share price sits inside the symmetrical triangle, it’s all good, that’s how the share market works.

Boohoo's share price will load on reversal on the lower trendline and it will be on the up.

It’s being played by the rules, nothing to worry.

Love the spend idea of £250m for TopShop and £100m for a decent makeup brand even a high end one for Karen Millen (KM). As you say the numbers get big fast.

John Lyttle CEO did say, on Thursday 14 January 2021 at the analyst conference call, that Boohoo Group wanted acquisitions in beauty, sport and menswear.

Interesting times ahead.

We'll know the outcome of the Arcadia Group's six remaining brands including TopShop by end of January.

Tommy239 - Superdry have stores hence why I mentioned bricks and mortar, stores.

Boohoo know they need to get into Quality too, hence why they've already bought the likes of Karen Millen. Karen Millen is now going global for Boohoo because it's done so well in the UK. Boohoo were gobsmacked themselves when a £1,000 Karen Millen coat sold out so quickly.

Tommy239 - Boohoo will never buy bricks and mortar, shops, they are only interested in buying the online part of the business in administration and the brand name.
