Sadly, I got seduced by danl90's diatribes hence my disagreements with you. He talks such a good story until you start checking the facts.

So sorry. I've learnt to see through danl90's comments now, thankfully.

danl90 - you don't get it, do you? ragtrade supplies to Boohoo, Asos, etc., he see what's going on first hand. He knows Boohoo are doing well so he buys Boohoo shares. He sees Boohoo are still doing well so he holds the shares. Waken up and smell the coffee.

danl90 - instead of commenting on here, go and use your valuable time looking for 100 baggers because they're out there. Stop chasing returns and spouting how clever you are about platforms. You waste so much time on detail.

I bought 360,000 boohoo shares in 2015. I have held them ever since through every up and down.

Chasing returns is a mug's game because it leads to making too many mistakes. I've been there, done it, got the t shirt and learnt the best way to make huge money in shares was to find great global growth shares like Boohoo and hold them.

Boohoo is a 100 bagger. Even from this price. Don't get distracted chasing returns. Buy and hold shares like Boohoo. Yes, it may take 10 years, it may take 20 years. Well worth the wait.

I can't believe people don't see St Patrick's Day as being big in England and Wales.

How many Irish or Irish heritage people live in England and Wales?

How many people in England and Wales have relations and friends living in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland?

Cardfactory surely isn't restricted to England and Wales. The UK includes Northern Ireland. St Patrick's Day is a bank holiday in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Tommygun99 - that's your first problem, chasing returns. It's not about chasing returns. It's about knowing you're investing in a great growth global business that will reflect in the share price eventually. That's what investing is all about.

danl90 - try to read all comments more than once and then you'll learn about shipping and that I didn't ask which countries were shipping.

The problem seems to be that you don't read comments in full and seem to simply react because you think you know more than the rest of us. Sadly, you don't.

danl90 - boohoo will hit market expectations. Their end of year was 28 February 2021 so stop the scaremongering. They've already said revenue will be up by 38-42%. It will be and probably more.

Herekittykitty - emotion is involved whether you trade or hold. Emotion is involved in investing. We're human. We have emotions. There's nothing wrong with emotions.

Trading for small amounts of money just uses valuable time up that you could use elsewhere. For example, finding more 100 baggers because they're out there.

Tommygun99 - the green days will come. It's not about the daily share price fluctuations. It's about investing your hard earned money in a business that will grow your money for you. That takes patience. That takes being bored with the share price. That takes standing still and not chasing some other shiny share that looks good and isn't good.

Investing is about finding a great global growth business like Boohoo and putting your money into it knowing it will grow, knowing it will take time, knowing it will be volatile at times. and knowing you need loads and loads of patience.

danl90 - back again. Accountancy doesn't make you a good investor. You may not be an accountant however you're too much into figures and detail. You can't see the big picture.

Investing in shares is not about figures and details. They help a bit but only a bit. It's not about focussing on £30/EU45. Which countries Boohoo is using to ship to EU?

It'a about focussing on the huge future global growth.

It's about an entrepreneurial founder who has most of his personal wealth invested in the business. It's about driven and passionate senior management. It's about doing great deals. It's about senior management staying with the company for years and years. It's about wanting to grow the company. It's about high performance through everything even Covid-19 and even Brexit too.

This is why all the retailers are down today including Asos and Boohoo.

We know that Boohoo aren't shipping to EU through UK. We know Boohoo are using other countries to ship to EU. Well done Boohoo.

It's not the daily share price fluctuations that matter. It's the huge growth that we know Boohoo is going to achieve. This is what matters.

Buy boohoo shares and get rich with its billionaire entrepreneurial founder who wants to grow Boohoo into a huge global e-commerce business. And he'll do it. Back Boohoo instead of trying to make and lose small amounts of money in other shares which don't have the potential of Boohoo.

mdunsire- the banks do because Cardfactory have been trying to refinance for 3 months and guess what there's been no refinancing from the banks.

Your first class maths degree worked out £192m cumulative profit for the last 5 years for Boohoo. Something wrong there. Accountancy doesn't make you a good investor.

mdunsire - well your maths are bad because you don't even know what debts/liabilities Cardfactory have. Let's remember Neil Woodford was a fund manager and look what happened to him.

mdurnsire - research and read everything you can find about cardfactory and then you'll get to the truth.

Boohoo have never been saved from bankruptcy. Boohoo have never been bankrupt.

Look at the last trading update for Cardfactpry for debts and liabilities. It was something like £350m. Cardfactory have had a £200m credit loan since then, delayed creditors too. Banks not giving re-financing should tell you the business is in serious trouble.

Cardfactory have never made £250m-£300m profit. Cardfactory's profit before Covid 19 on £450m revenue was £65m. I think you're mixing up revenue and profit.

Boohoo have revenue of £1.3bn with profit of over £100m.

I think your maths are wrong. Don't insult people. There's no need for it. Insults say more about you than the person you are insulting.

Da_Matser - be concerned about cardfatory and the fact that none of the banks will provide refinancing to them. I wonder why. Do you think the banks know something you don't? Three months and still no refinancing from the banks. The banks don't share your optimisim. Or is it they have the real figures to hand for cardfactory's debts, delayed creditors and liabilities?
