Shame you didn't put that money into Boohoo instead of Premier Foods, it would have made you a lot more money than Premier Foods.

Guidance

Following the strong peak trading performance, Group revenue growth for the financial year to 28 February 2021 is expected to be 36% to 38%, ahead of our previous guidance of 28% to 32%.

Boohoo Group love to under promise and over deliver with their results. Hence why the final results for year ending 28 February 2021 will be more than likely over 40%.

Boohoo Group's final year results will be released on Wednesday 5 May 2021.

Further comment about Boohoo from Paul Scott:-

BOO management know what they're doing, and have far more experience of all aspects of running the business (including logistics) than any of us.

There's a tremendous amount of expertise in the group, particularly after 3 top brass came in from Primark. So they know how to source responsibly for low cost overseas, and they know all about logistics.

Their marketing expertise is second to none, and the product hits the nail on the head, that's why organic growth is something like 40%.

Paul Scott was a Finance Director for a UK fashion company before leaving to become a personal investor and write for the likes of the Small Cap Value Report on Stockopedia.

I think this shows the scale of the group's ambitions, and the significant growth in the pipeline - strong organic growth from existing brands, plus the new brands recently acquired (e.g. Debenhams & others).

For context, revenues for FY 02/2020 were £1.24bn. So planning for revenues of more than £4bn is a step change in size.

In my opinion, forecasts do not yet adequately reflect the growth in the pipeline, which could lead to a re-rating of BOO shares. Together with the decisive action being taken to address ESG concerns, I think there's every reason to be optimistic about BOO's future prospects.

£4 billion revenue for Boohoo Group - onwards and upwards - well done Boohoo.

Boohoo's deal to snap up a giant warehouse in Daventry will be 'transformational' for the business, according to a source familiar with the agreement.

The acquisition – first mooted by The Mail on Sunday in February – saves 330 jobs and could add another 400 positions in the short term.

'Don't underestimate the impact this will have on the business,' the source said. The company said it will now be capable of handling £4billion of revenue, up from its current £1.7billion.

The state of the art 1.2million square foot warehouse was completed in 2019 for its former owner, Topshop group Arcadia.

Boohoo has since snapped up Topshop sister brands Dorothy Perkins, Burton and Wallis to sell online.

Jefferies analyst Andrew Wade has reiterated his 'buy' rating on the stock with a target price of £5 from £3.44 on Friday.
